Willow is amazing. She’s been really easy so far. Potty training is going amazing and she’s loving the crate. Loving the other dogs. Wants to play with Reese and Boots but they are monsters compared to her right now! She’s nothing like Shadow, when he was a puppy he was Mr Independent he ran the house. Miss Willow Bee is a perfect little angel 🥰 and THAT FACE 😘

This morning, while digging deeper into Willow’s mother’s side of the pedigree, I discovered that Willow and Ozzy are distant cousins!
That makes this little girl even more meaningful to me. Willow is Shadow’s paternal half-sister—Shadow was the foundation of my program and the father of my first Golden Retriever litters. She also carries a distant connection to Ozzy, who represents the future of my program.
She truly feels like the best of both worlds: a direct piece of Shadow’s legacy with a connection to the future I’m building through Ozzy.
Of course, Willow is still only a puppy, and nothing about her future is guaranteed. She will need to mature before any breeding plans are made. But if everything falls into place, one possible future pairing would be Willow and Boots, with the hope of producing beautiful cream-colored Golden Retrievers.
That is still a very long way off. For now, I am simply love, love, loving this precious puppy and enjoying every moment with my sweet Willow Bee My Shadow.

Say hello to the Bay Road Bandits! Sun & Sand Goldens rescue??? Here’s 2 more precious puppies that we picked up after we got home from 8 hours of driving. They were in the same exact spot as the Sonny Boys so I suspect people are just dumping dogs down the road now. I won’t just drive by! They are safe, have water and food and inside a pen for the night.
