The kitten gets the likes.
The trap doesn’t.
The late nights don’t.
The emergency vet bills don’t.
The hours spent coordinating spay/neuter appointments don’t.
The feral colony living behind a dumpster doesn’t.
But that’s where the real work happens.
For every adorable kitten photo you see, there are dozens of cats you’ll never meet. Cats born outside. Cats fighting to survive. Cats that will never be social enough to curl up in someone’s lap.
They matter too.
Every trap set. Every cat fixed. Every colony monitored. Every kitten saved.
