Happy 4th Birthday, Minnie 💛

This birthday feels different. A year ago today, we were preparing ourselves for the possibility that Minnie might not be here to celebrate another one. We were told time was limited… but Minnie had other plans.

From the very beginning, she has been nothing short of a fighter. She’s faced more challenges than most ever will, and yet she continues to choose strength, resilience, and life every single day. Watching her push through, heal, and keep going has been one of the most humbling and inspiring experiences.

Minnie, you’ve taught me more about courage and love than I could ever put into words.

I also want to take a moment to thank every single person who has supported us along the way. The kindness, encouragement, and help with veterinary bills made a difference I can’t even begin to measure. You helped give Minnie the chance to keep fighting and to be here today celebrating her 4th birthday.

This isn’t just her milestone, it’s a shared one. 💛

Here’s to Minnie, our strong, stubborn, beautiful girl. You are so deeply loved, and every extra day with you is a gift.

Lint had a fantastic day in the sun in his new wheels! We tried really hard to get it fitted to his body the best way we could, as he uses it more often I’m sure we will find new ways to make him even more comfortable. He flipped it a couple of times but over all he was so happy and excited to explore like a normal little sheep.

The winter hit us really hard this year and had a huge impact on our animals. Since lint was confined to his little area for 2-3 months he lost some of his muscle in that front leg, which has made it a little more difficult for him to navigate as well as he did last summer. We are hoping he can regain some of his motion and strength as he uses his wheels to get around this spring! He was so excited to graze with his brother Bernie today without having to take a break every few minutes❤️

The sun was still shining at cookie time this evening!!!!! Look at all of my handsome guys and beautiful girlies❤️

(Now I just need all the mud to dry up and for the grass we spent so much money on to grow back!!!!)

When you have your babies in your own back yard you don’t have to plan a star gazing date, you get to just walk out the back door and get snuggled!!!!!!

So grateful that I get to experience this life with my big Glo. I don’t deserve her💜

🐮A big WELCOME HOME to these babies🐮

This past Sunday we were finally able to welcome our babies home….forever! No more having to travel to see them, which feels so so good. This is the first time EVER that Tayler and I have been able to have all of our animals at home all at the same time.

I know I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it, but we are so thankful to those who have lent a helping hand along the way. Whether you’ve donated money, came out to help us build something, let us house our cows on your property, or even sent us words of encouragement, we could not have done it without the communities support.

Looking out the kitchen window and seeing all of the things that mean the most to me brings tears of joy to my eyes every single time. Thank you again for everything and welcome home to these lucky ol moo cows❤️

PS Glo and I already have plans for a sleep over in my bed when it snows this winter💜

Glo, Bart, Earl, and Harvey got the news that we are only 2-3 short weeks away from finally bringing them home……that’s right HOME. And they are EXCITED!

Tayler has been working so so so hard on their pasture and even though it’s taken just about 2 years, a lot of $$, and hard work to make it happen, we will soon have all of our babies home at Open Arms Farm!

None of this would be possible without all of the help and support from friends, family, and the community! We’ve really gotten lucky❤️ as this really busy time finally comes to an end I hope to be able to bring more updates and content to this page. One of our favorite parts of doing what we do is sharing our love for these babies with the community. So stay tuned!

PS- I know everyone is wondering, lint our 3 legged lamb is doing so well. He has a little friend that he gets to share his life with. More to come!

Minnie had to say goodbye to her dada today. She gave him the biggest kiss to hold him over until he comes back next Friday ❤️ Minnie has been LOVING having her dad around more often. Tayler recently was moved to Virginia so he gets to spend every weekend here with his family!

Today is such a special day! It’s our Minnie’s 3rd birthday💛

We won’t go on forever about her story or what she means to us because yall already know. We are just so grateful to have her around to celebrate another year and we hope we can have her around for many more (fingers crossed).
