Wow. I make it a habit to not talk about work on any platform. But this reel... I had an instance happen at work on Thursday. I'm glad for myself that I reacted the way I did.

Apperently I can't seam to find may pictures of the quilts I'm supposed to be featuring. But here are the pictures I have.
Some of the things I did to these Quilts were not photographed which is sad.
Some of those things are; a heart quilted into the top corner of the quilt. A name quilted into the bottom corner of the quilt. A pocket which contains an embroidered heart you can hold that says I Love You.

This is quilt 1, Emmy's quilt. You can see on this one i had to replace one panel for something different because that particular panel was for a different quilt. This is the reason I always send a picture to the customer before putting the quilt top together. This mistake was caught after putting the top together but before the quilting had begun.

I am finally able to show the gifted pictures of the first 3 quilts for one lady. These are all made with grandpa's clothing. Each has a pocket with an embroidered I love you heart in it. Each quilt has the recipient name written into the quilting.
3 more quilts to go. 2 of them will not be as big as they will be for 10 year olds. I will be making a post for each quilt showing the progress as I went along.
Thank you everyone for your support and is will be making more content again. Yay!

I have a client that needs a large canvas cover fixed and or made for huge portable wood milling machine. This will need a canvas machine or an industrial machine. It also needs grommets. Does anyone know a place near schoolcraft, Kalamazoo, MI area that will work with such a hard thick material? Boat places.. leather place anything??? Please.

I'm am sitting here in my sewing room reflecting on one of the hardest funerals I have ever had to go through in my life. So I want to thank you. To those of you who showed up for the family. I thank you for doing your due diligence for sitting with us, for talking with us, for doing the things and for showing your respect for the family and this life taken too soon. Thank you, you are all appreciated. Your comfort and support mean a lot to all of us. You made this very hard funeral a very kind and loving send off of a beautiful, beautiful boy.

I had to stop the current t-shirt quilt to do a quick binding for a long time customer. Only took me a couple hours. The quilt is so cute and the maker did a wonderful job cross stitching the top.
