🐶 What does “licensed & approved” actually mean?

A lot of people don’t realize how much goes into legally starting a pet food business—so I wanted to pull the curtain back a bit.

To receive approval, Bark for Baker had to:
• Complete a formal application process
• Meet Greenville County business requirements
• Go through Agriculture review and approval
• Comply with local standards for food handling and safety

This process takes time, patience, and a lot of waiting—but it exists to protect pets and their people, and I’m proud to say we met every requirement.

This approval means you can trust that Bark for Baker is operating legally, responsibly, and transparently—with your dog’s health always coming first.
