After receiving over 300 hits on my post for a simple liver cake recipe for fur babies on a local site NOT intended for such posts, and having a strong passion to cook for my fosters, I've decided to start this page. Many people weighed in with other fantastic ideas I hadn't thought of and I realized other people love sharing their ideas as much as I do!!!
Please remember that treats should never comprise more than 10% of your pets diet, and if they have a medical condition you should know what they can and can't have in their diet. Things like xylitol, grapes, macadamia nuts, pits from fruits, chocolate, onions, garlic (more on this later) and chives, are poisonous to dogs...and there are many more. They don't need all of these though, they'd prefer turmeric, cinnamon, carob, basil or rosemary!🙂
