TreeHouse Wildlife Center is a non-profit, animal rescue center. Our goal is rescue, rehabilitation, release, and education. Visit our resident animals and education center for free. All donations go towards the animals.

PSA for our Pet Owners 🐾

Recently, one of the local emergency clinics announced they are limiting their emergency services. There has been a global shortage of veterinarians and staff members historically and we understand how this was a hard decision for them. We would like to address how this may affect our area and how we can hopefully help one another make this an easy change. ❤️

Please know that here at Greenville Veterinary Clinic we strive to provide compassionate, quality, progressive veterinary medicine and surgery to all clients in a timely, friendly, and professional manner. However, this new development may cause longer wait times, less availiablity for same-day appointments, and difficulty getting through on the phone or longer hold times.

There are ways to help prevent emergency situations.
** Schedule your pet's annual wellness exam with your veterinarian for early detection of potential problems.
** Keep your pet's vaccines and parasite prevention current - preventive care can prevent problems before they become emergencies.
** If you notice something concerning with your pet, don't wait until the problem becomes severe to seek veterinary advice.

We know this can be frustrating and scary, especially when our fur babies are not feeling well or are injured. We just ask that during these times you can give the veterinary teams some grace and patience. We hope to provide the very best care for your pets!

While we realize that some pets require extra care and monitoring, we do not have the ability to provide comprehensive overnight care. There are other emergency clinics available for emergency care overnight and during the weekends. It is recommended to please call ahead of time so they can be prepared for your arrival.
