This handsome boy was just adopted!!! I also saw this comment "Being retired military myself please let these military families know that there are options before they surrender their dog, have them reach out to DOGS ON DEPLOYMENT, someone will foster their dog while they are deployed. Thank you." And I think this is GREAT info to have. 🐾🥰

For the first 10 years of his life, Bo had a family who loved him dearly. Unfortunately, when they were deployed, they had to make the difficult decision to surrender him. Now this sweet senior gentleman is searching for a new family to spend his golden years with.

Bo may be blind due to cataracts, but he doesn't let that stop him from enjoying life. This is the kind of dog that can be described as a “unicorn.” He is:

Bo loves treats, but due to vision, needs some help finding them! He isn’t looking for anything complicated…just a family willing to see beyond his cloudy eyes into his perfect and loving heart. If that comes with a cozy couch where he can lay his head, even better!

☀️🐾 Summer is here, and while we may enjoy the sunshine, our pets can quickly overheat. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for them!
Here are a few ways to help keep your furry family members cool and safe:
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh water. 🌳 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are cooler. 🐾 Test the pavement with the back of your hand for 7 seconds—if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for their paws. 🏡 Make sure they have access to shade and air conditioning. 🚗 Never leave pets in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes. 🥵 Watch for signs of overheating such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or difficulty breathing.
A little extra caution can make all the difference. Stay safe, stay hydrated, and give your pets plenty of cool cuddle breaks this summer! ❤️🐶🐱
