We want to address some rumors going around and make one thing VERY clear: COUNTRY SIDE KENNEL IS NOT CLOSING! 🐾

After more than 22 years of hard work, dedication, and love poured into this place, Judy, our current owner, is retiring. She has worked long and hard to build Country Side Kennel into what it is today, and she deserves the chance to relax and enjoy this next chapter of her life. ❤️ That’s why she has chosen Nick Fillers to take over Country Side Kennel and continue what she has worked so hard to build. 🐶🐱 So, what does this mean for you and your fur babies?

🐾 WE ARE STAYING OPEN! We are NOT shutting down!

❤️ OUR STAFF IS STAYING! You’ll continue seeing the same familiar faces who love and care for your pets.

🕘 NEW HOURS: Beginning November 1st, we will be open 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, 7 DAYS A WEEK!

🐕 MORE OUTSIDE TIME! Your fur babies will get to go outside more often!

Change can bring questions and uncertainty, but we want everyone to know that Country Side Kennel is continuing on! This is a new chapter, not the end. We are excited about what’s ahead and look forward to continuing to care for your precious fur babies! ❤️And if you happen to see Mr. Nick Fillers in the office with me (Savanna) or Autumn, please be sure to give him a big, warm welcome to the Country Side Kennel family! ❤️🐾 We’re excited for this new chapter and appreciate everyone’s kindness and support as we move forward together!

📢🐾 A NEW CHAPTER, NEW HOURS! 🐾📢

As Country Side Kennel begins an exciting new chapter, we want to share an important update with our wonderful customers! 💙

Effective November 1st, our new drop-off and pick-up hours will be 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 7 days a week! 🐶🐱🎉

🕘 New Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
📅 Days: Monday – Sunday
📍 Effective Date: November 1st

We’re excited for this new chapter and look forward to continuing to care for your precious fur babies with the same love and dedication you’ve come to know and trust. Thank you for being part of our Country Side Kennel family and for growing with us through every chapter! 🐾❤️

🧼🐾 BOARDING REQUIREMENTS🏡🐾

Planning a trip? We can’t wait to welcome your furry family members to their home away from home! ❤️🐶🐱

To help keep all our guests safe and healthy, all pets must have the required vaccinations completed at least 2 weeks before their stay.

🐶 DOG VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
✔️ Rabies
✔️ DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus)
✔️ Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

🐱 CAT VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
✔️ Rabies
✔️ FVRCP
✔️ FeLV (Feline Leukemia)

📋 A Few Important Reminders:
🐾 Please make sure your pet’s vaccinations are up to date.
🐾 Vaccine records must show all required vaccinations, including Leptospirosis for dogs.
🐾 Vaccinations must be completed at least 2 weeks before your pet’s boarding stay.
🐾Bring anything that makes your baby feel comfortable
🐾 Make sure to bring your food 😋

🧹 During Their Stay: ❤️ We work hard to keep our kennels, bedding, and common areas clean and sanitary. 🐾 We regularly clean and disinfect our spaces to help protect all our furry guests. 🐾 We do our best to keep every pet comfortable, clean, and cared for!

A NEW CHAPTER FOR COUNTRY SIDE KENNEL! 🐾

We know that change can be scary, and we understand the fear and uncertainty that can come with it. Change is never easy, especially when it comes to a place you know and love. ❤️ We know the BIG question on everyone's mind ..… “Is the staff staying?”

YES! WE ARE STAYING! 🐾💙

We want to reassure you that we are still here, and we are NOT going anywhere! You will continue to see the familiar faces you know and trust caring for your furry family members. Please join us in welcoming our new owner, Nick Fillers! Nick has already been coming down and spending time with us, learning how we do things here at Country Side Kennel. He's learning from us, and we're learning alongside him! We're working together to make this transition as smooth as possible while continuing to provide the love, care, and attention your pets deserve.Country Side Kennel has always been about more than just boarding pets. It's about the relationships we've built with our wonderful customers, the memories we've made, and the trust you've placed in us to care for your furry family members. Dear Country Side Kennel Family,

After 22 wonderful years, I have made the very difficult and heartfelt decision to retire. October 31, 2026 will officially mark the closing of this chapter to me and the beginning of a new chapter for Country Side Kennel.

This business has been so much more than a place of work. It has been a huge part of my life, and I am incredibly grateful for every family who has trusted me with the care of their beloved dogs and cats. The friendships, memories, and relationships I have made along the way will always hold a special place in my heart.

I am also very thankful for the faithful employees who have stood beside me and who have chosen to stay on. Their dedication, hard work, and love for the animals have meant so much to me. They mean the world to me as well. They are my family. I am comforted knowing that the kennel will continue to have caring and dependable people who know and love the animals and the families we serve.

And of course I couldn’t have done it without my husband Dennis. For all of his support, and hard work. The calls he would get to fix things for me, he kept the kennel running smoothly and safe for the animals. It is his kennel as much as it is mine. It was an answered prayer for both of us.

I am especially grateful to Nick Fillers, who will be taking over as the new owner. I fully support Nick and believe he will work hard to carry Country Side forward. I hope everyone will welcome him, support him, and give him the same trust and kindness that you have given me.

Most of all, I want to thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to build and operate Country Side and for giving me the strength, guidance, and many blessings throughout this journey. I am truly grateful for the people He has placed in my life and for every person and animal who has been part of Country Side family.

Although I am retiring, I am hoping to occasionally be able to stop in and help out. It will be difficult to completely walk away from something that has been such a meaningful part of my life, and I know I will miss seeing all of the familiar faces-both two-legged and four-legged!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to care for your pets, for trusting me, and for supporting Country Side Kennel throughout the years. I will always treasure the memories we have made together.

Today, we’re introducing another familiar face here at Country Side Kennel! Meet Lethia, who has been part of our kennel family on and off since 2004! ❤️Lethia helps out both in the office and as a Kennel Assistant. Her love for animals runs deep, but she also has a special connection to Country Side Kennel her mom is Judy, our owner! 🥰🐾

🏡 A Little About Lethia:

🐶 Her Fur Babies: She has quite the crew at home! Four dogs named Arlo, Charlie, Onyx, and Mika, along with two cats, Rue and Tilly!
🐾 Team Dogs or Team Cats? Both! She couldn't possibly choose!
💕 One Kennel Baby She'd Take Home: Peyton the cat! 🐱
☕ Her Busy-Day Essential: COFFEE! Gotta have that coffee to keep up with all our furry guests! 😂
Lethia has been part of the Country Side Kennel story since the very beginning, and we're happy to have her as part of our team! ❤️
