Today at Stache Ranch, someone didn’t just sign up for riding lessons.

They got an experience they’ll remember for the rest of their life.

A parent reached out wanting to gift their daughter riding lessons this summer, so instead of waiting for lesson day, we loaded up a horse, trailered into their neighborhood, and rode right up to the house to surprise her.

That moment is what horses are really about.

Because whether you’re 8 years old or 58 years old, horses create memories that stay with you forever.

You probably still remember:

* your first pony ride
* your first real connection with a horse
* your first trail ride
* your first time loping, cantering, or riding outside the arena
* the smell of the barn and leather tack
* the feeling of freedom sitting in the saddle

We are craving experiences that actually mean something. Not more stuff. Not more scrolling. Real experiences. Real connection. Real confidence. Real memories.

That’s what we build at Stache Ranch.

Whether you are:

* a complete beginner
* returning to horses after years away
* looking for confidence and connection
* or wanting to improve your skills through ranch horse performance sessions

…you belong here.

At Stache Ranch, you’re not just showing up to ride circles in an arena. You’re building skills, confidence, partnership, and memories you’ll carry for the rest of your life.

Current opportunities include:

* Beginner riding experiences
* Adult and youth riding lessons
* Ranch horse performance sessions
* Horsemanship coaching
* Summer horse experiences
* Wait list openings for riders serious about improving their riding and partnership

If you’ve been thinking about getting back into horses, starting your horse journey, or taking your riding to the next level, don’t keep putting it off.

Contact Stache Ranch today to book an experience or get added to the wait list for ranch horse performance sessions. [email protected] or 509-818-0951

I’ve been watching Yellowstone, Dutton Ranch and like a lot of people, I enjoy the incredible scenery, the horses, and the ranch lifestyle.

It makes for great television.

But it also got me thinking.

Is the horse industry you want to be part of built on fighting, gossip, and tearing each other down?

Or is it built on education, partnerships, collaboration, and helping each other improve?

The reality is this: horses are challenging enough. You don’t need more drama. You need good people, honest instruction, and a supportive community.

At Stache Ranch, your goals matter more than ego.

I don’t worry about how many other trainers, clinicians, or horse professionals are out there. The truth is, I can’t help every horse and rider on my own—and I don’t want to.

What I want to build is a place where:

• You feel welcome, whether you’re brand new or highly experienced
• You can ask questions without being judged
• You can improve your horsemanship and enjoy your horse
• You can meet like-minded people who want to learn and grow
• You can support others and be supported in return

If you want to collaborate, let’s talk.

If you want to grab coffee and discuss horses, send me a message.

If you want to haul in for a ride, a lesson, or a clinic, you’re invited.

If you believe the horse industry should build people up instead of tearing them down, then you’ll fit right in here.

I’m looking forward to riding with you this summer.

What kind of horse community do you want to be part of?

To keep a child or horse from experiencing pressure, difficulty and being uncomfortable is to not prepare them for the realities of the world and is one of the most selfish acts a parent or owner can do.

Want to improve with your horse, but don’t want to commit to a standing weekly lesson right away?

I’ve opened the Stache Ranch Private Lesson List.

When you join the list, you can:

• Schedule one-off lessons when openings are available
• Receive weekly updates with limited lesson times
• Get priority consideration for a regular weekly session as spots open up

This is a great fit if you:
• Have a busy or unpredictable schedule
• Want help with specific challenges
• Are working toward ranch riding, trail obstacles, dressage, groundwork, or rider confidence
• Would like to become a consistent student in the future

I only offer a small number of private lesson openings each week, so spots are limited.

Join the list here:

Whether you want occasional coaching or hope to become a regular student, this is the best way to get started.

At Stache Ranch, our goal is to better the best that you and your horse already have.
