Big lightbulb moments in Cottonwood!
Sometimes an exercise clicks—and suddenly you understand why you’ve been practicing that maneuver and how it helps you get a job done with your horse.
That’s what made this weekend’s Ultimate Ranch Horse Experience so rewarding. Between working the flag, working cattle, riding through purposeful exercises, and using Stache Says, you had the chance to connect your foundation to practical ranch work. We saw some big breakthroughs along the way!
A heartfelt thank-you to:
🤠Stache Ranch and W Spur Horsemanship for bringing the instruction and practical ranch experience together.
🏡 Our host, Laurie Doman, for sharing her facility and putting so much care into the weekend.
📸 A.K. Photography and Videography for capturing the experience.
And thank YOU for showing up, asking questions, trying something unfamiliar, and putting your trust in the learning process. Your willingness to work through a challenge is what makes those lightbulb moments possible.
Next year, we’re planning to give you even more: an extra day and another clinician, with more time for stockmanship, horsemanship, and roping—in and out of the arena.
What else would you want to learn or experience to put this at the top of your clinic list next year? Drop your ideas in the comments. Your feedback will help shape what comes next.
👀 Keep your eyes out for the details. We’re building next year’s Ultimate Ranch Horse Experience into a can’t-miss weekend for you and your horse!
