Memorial Day Sale is LIVE! These shoes have been awesome for Nolan! They are hands free and he is able to do them on his own! We purchased a pair AS SOON as the kids line came out, and when he got a hole in those we ordered the same shoes again. When we mentioned our love for  to them they gifted us our new “fancy” pair.

Keep>Going First Aid
🩹We have the super kit, the go kit family and the go kit adult . We love them all.
🩹The super kit lives in my car to have things like ace bandages and emergency blanket.
🩹The go kits, well, go. We toss one in just about everywhere we go- near —> park or far —> Europe and all the trips in between.
🩹They are a travel must—and do have refill kits if you use them as much as we do.
🐾 and now for pets, too!

Summer popsicles-part sensory, part love being the popsicle house. It may be a midwest thing to have a garage freezer, but setting up a side of the fridge station to easy open, toss trash, have holders & wipes near, and then clean up at the end. Summer wins all around.

Put items at Kid’s Height so they can do it themselves. There are a lot of things we can (and should) help kids with, but you would be amazed at what they can do independently if they can reach the things they want to do!
Put your summer brain on- what’s stuff they are going to want a lot so they can help themselves to because they can reach independently.

Keep the sunscreen by the door and apply first thing in the morning (we also have it on their picture schedule charts for morning routine). We love  because it is a cleaner chemical sunscreen, doesn’t cause skin issues with any of our kids and it actually works! Check out Memorial Day sales!

Mom volunteered show 1, then we did second show with all mom and dad’s attention. Ballet (the storm), Tap (scarecrow going on yellow brick road), and Jazz (goodbye yellow brick road). Stella did a front walkover in jazz and was so pumped! .inspirations always does such a great job! And to my dance moms- thanks for for having my back and “look at us! We’re doing it!”

Chunk/Chores does not include Daily Tasks/charts
➕I have a daily job chunk and the kids have daily chore(s) but that is not the ONLY thing we do that day. That is the BIG job we do that day.
➕Daily tasks (the kids are included on their “chart” which is our picture schedules) include things like making bed, hanging pjs for another day or tossing in laundry, putting your stuff away after school, cleaning your table spot. Adults this is the dishes, picking up at night, putting work away, putting kids papers away, taking the trash out when it is full, etc.
➕ When you do your chunk/chore and your daily tasks/chart the family works as a team to maintain the home and the kids learn responsibility along the way.

Want Tech Time? Earn It
Monday Mom Method: Want Tech Time? Let’s Earn it!
📱The time of day we have tech time is scheduled after our learning time. (hottest party of the day)
📱Go through the items on the list before The scheduled tech window? You can have it! — Still have things on the list to do? Go do them quick (but correct) and you can have what time is left!
📱This way they are getting something they enjoy but are responsible for themselves and those self help/problem solving skills.
📱Expectations are age appropriate so it is 100 possible to do them all by that time of day.
📱Mom gets some planned quiet time so she, too can get some stuff done.
