🦎 Weekly Wednesday Adoption Highlight!
Meet this week’s star: Cruella Deville! 🖤🤍
Despite her villainous name, Cruella is a total sweetheart looking for her forever home. If you’ve been thinking about adding a scaly friend to your family, she might be the perfect match!
Cruella’s Care & Requirements
Diet: Omnivorous! She loves a healthy balance of fresh leafy greens (collard greens, mustard greens, Romaine Lettuce), veggies, and gut-loaded feeder insects (crickets, or mealworms).
Enclosure Requirements:
Tank Size: Needs a spacious enclosure (a minimum 120 gallon tank) with plenty of room to roam and climb.
Lighting & Heat: Requires a proper UVB tube light setup and a dedicated basking spot reaching ~95–105°F to stay happy and healthy.
Adoption Details
Adoption Fee: $65
How to Adopt: We require an adoption application process to make sure Cruella is going to a safe, well-prepared home. Ask us in-store or send us a message to get started!

Hey everyone, I want to appologies if this causes some inconvence, but I will be opening the store later then normal tomorrow Friday the 16th. The store will open up at 1:00 PM rather then the normal 10 AM. I have a very important meeting to make, and people who know the fight I am fighting will know why. ✨ Meet Zilla ✨ , our resident juvenile red iguana who has officially graduated from rescue status to looking for his forever home at Reptile Universe!

The Zilla File: A Sassy Teen Ready for Love 🦎

Zilla is a 1-year-old red iguana with a backstory. Found hiding out in a dog cage and brought in by animal control, his previous owner sadly passed away. It has taken months of patience, consistency, and slow-and-steady trust-building to show him that humans are friends, not foes.

The Pros ❤️🦎 (Why You'll Fall in Love)

Built for the Long Haul: As a healthy, well-aware 1-year-old, he has a long life ahead of him—iguanas can live up to 30 years with proper care!

A Certified Shoulder Percher: Once he trusts you, he is a total lover who will happily hang out on your shoulder.

A Good Eater: Zilla loves his greens! He's a big fan of lettuce, carrots, corn, and broccoli. (He gets offered grapes too, but he's a picky gourmet who likes to meticulously pick right around them.)

The Cons 🦎💣(What to Keep in Mind)

Size Up: He is a juvenile now, but he will double or triple in size, meaning his new home will need a large, well-planned enclosure down the road or a home kept to standards to allow safe free roaming.

The "Sassy Teen" Phase: Zilla requires daily interaction and consistency. If he gets startled, he WILL use his tail as a whip. You’ll need the time and dedication to continue building his trust.

Because of his background and specific needs, his new owner will be vetted closely to make sure he goes to the ultimate reptile-savvy home.
