We had a great book discussion. Celia recommended The Gales of September, about the Edmund Fitzgerald. We all loved the Gordon Lightfoot song, The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. This reminded us of the book, The Day the World Came to Town, about the airplane that was stranded in Gander, Newfoundland
on 9/11. We are all recommending the Netflix version of the book, Remarkably Bright Creatures. Next gathering is June 13.

As usual, a fun brunch with the Curvettes. We talked about digestive precautions when going to Mexico, Celia’s upcoming retirement, and the tragic death of sloths at the ill-fated Sloth World in Florida. We meet again May 9.
