Motherhood doesn’t always look the way you planned and sometimes, that’s exactly what makes it beautiful. 🐾

Sometimes it looks like wet nose kisses, wagging tails, and a love so pure it heals the parts of your heart you thought were broken. Not every mom’s journey looks the same, and mine led me straight to the most unconditional love I’ve ever known my fur baby.

If you’ve ever loved a dog like your own child, if you’ve ever had a four-legged baby run to the door just to remind you that you are everything to them this post is for you.

To every dog mom, fur mama, and woman quietly pouring her whole heart into the babies that chose her you are seen, you are celebrated, and you are absolutely a mom. 💗

Great information.

🪱 Let's talk about HEARTWORMS! 🪱
So many of the dogs we get are heartworm positive! Sadly, we are usually more shocked when they come back negative.
Something we hear quite often is "yes- my vet gave my dog worming medicine at his last appt". Your vet gave them something for INTESTINAL worms. That is 2 different things.

We understand things are rather tough in this economy & choices have to be made.

We HIGHLY recommend checking out PETSHED. They have EXTREMELY affordable heartworm prevention along with flea prevention and dewormer for intestinal parasites. (some are generics but work completely fine)
They also don't require a prescription but we still recommend a yearly heartworm test.
