Congratulations to Shadow for graduating from training with ! When Shadow started training, he was just a bundle of chaotic puppy energy. Now, he's still a bundle of energy, but less chaotic. He's come a long way in his 6 weeks of training and his parents are proud of his progress and proud of themselves for making it happen. Keep training, Shadow and be the example for everything other dog in your neighborhood!

Today was a very special day for Shadow! Today, he made a new friend, .the.shepsky. They had a fun time playing together and learning about boundaries. His Recall is hard for him with a friend around, so we practiced that for a while. He also got jealous and would start demand barking, so we worked on the Quiet cue. Mom did a great job rewarding both dogs at a safe distance from each other to avoid any risk of conflict. This was his hardest class yet, but overall he did very well once his energy waned a bit.

Shadow has progressed to Loose Leash training beyond the backyard! People and dogs distract him, and he loves to snag the nearest stick he can find, but he and his mama are figuring it out together! ❤️🐕

Chanel is doing much better with Stay. However, she tends to focus more on me than her mom, who says she loves people and guests, so we worked on building their bond. We also came up with a solution to help guests keep Chanel from jumping. She's small now, but summer's closing in and it's almost bathing suit season. You can do it, Chanel!

Jerry has made so much progress on his Stay! His Recall is good, but he loses focus when his friends are out having fun. Jerry can only get better as he continues his training!

Shadow has come such a long way! Today, we leveled up his training in the backyard with the sounds and smells of kids, neighbors, and passing cars. He got a little distracted, but he was so good about regaining his focus. We reviewed what he's learned so far with added distractions and started practicing their loose leash walking. Mom is so proud of him and herself for getting this far in training together!

The hardest thing for a young pup to do is nothing. Chanel has a tough time with Stay, so we worked on "Look at me," to regain her focus. We also played a few games to work on her jumping and improve her Stay. She's still a very young puppy, so keeping her attention is a challenge in itself, but she's definitely making great progress!

Today, Jerry made great progress as we added extra distractions to his training lesson. He tends to get excited when his friends are out being active, so we worked on his Recall while they were having fun. His Stay needs a little more work, but his Recall has greatly improved. Keep up the great work, Jerry!

Shadow is doing so well learning with his mom. For his second lesson, he learned to focus on mom, come when called, and to stay.

Chanel has joined the Over K-9000 pack! Today, she learned to go into her kennel, Recall, and Stay. She's a happy little pup in a big world with lots to learn.
