Update-the Bark Park will be officially closed starting on Wednesday 10/21/26. Thank you.

Good morning!! We wanted to give everyone a heads up that the Bark Park is going to be eventually closed for an extended time (possibly a month). It has been decided by the Town of Granby and Pet Pals, that the pond needs to be filled. It has been a growing concern. The pond has had no water coming in/out for some time and there are no natural occurring 'freshening flows' to maintain water quality in the pond. The dogs like to swim and drink from the pond and with the water being questionable (only to get worse over time), it could result in unhealthy consumption for our four legged friends. The pond has been wonderful while we have had it, but as always, the well being of the animals is and always will be our number one priority. Thanks for understanding. So for the few days that are remaining that it will be open, go out and have fun. We will keep you posted as soon as we know the closing date.
And a huge THANK YOU to the Town of Granby for your help with this project!!!!

So yesterday we came to the Bark Park to access everything and are now facing this issue among others. Does anyone know who could weld this post back on and also the fence will need to be stretched back to close up that area? Any help would be appreciated. Please PM us. Thank you.

Just a reminder. We will be in contact w people who might be able to help with the issue. Until it's fixed, we unfortunately can't open it for the safety of the small and large dogs. Thanks for understanding. We are doing our best to resolve the issue. 😊

The Bark Park is closed for the season. We hope you had a great time!! The park next year will be opened a little later than usual since we will have to figure out how to fix the pond issue where the small dogs can go to the big dogs play yard and vice versa. If anyone has ideas, please PM us. We want the Bark Park to be as safe of a place that it can be for all the furs. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season. See you next year!!

Oh goodness!! Here is another challenge that will be happening. One of our counties amazing Sheriff's Office Dispatcher, Jodie and her awesome husband, Donnie are going to be a part of the fun. This challenge involves not laughing while you are getting peanut butter licked off of your face by an adorable fur. The one who laughs first is going to get pied by the winner. We can't wait!! Good luck to you both!!!
