Since there are some new people on my page, I would like to do a little about me!
To start off.. Hi! my name is Erica Ceja and how did I get into grooming? My senior year I was in an advanced animal science which led me to grooming dogs every Tuesday with my friends! It grew on me so much that I would rather do this my whole life rather than a vet tech (my original plan) although I’m not so great.. practice makes perfect and I hope to be way better than how I started off!
Although I am a solo groomer I do like to have my supportive boyfriend there by my side to help keep the dogs calm while I’m working on them! Sadly when he is back to college I will be solo all over again.
Some things about me hobby wise is that I sell bake goods! I have many yummy treats so if you’re a sweets person go check out EmuMakes :))
Another hobby I love doing is creating things! I have made my very first dress you see down below! I do want to create more dresses/outfits in the future for myself or family!
Some things I’m proud of was getting a small animal state champion award for my SAE in FFA which also gave me money! FFA has gave me so many opportunities to be apart of, rather that being going to contests even if I’m not the one competing, doing a SAE, selling mums, blue and gold, and ext.. doing the FFA knowledge even though I didn’t pass but I studied so hard for, also just going to these amazing trips overall!

I do hope to grow more in this little business I’ve made.. I use to live in Arkansas surrounded by thousands, so living in the country doesn’t help much customer wise since it could be that I’m far, or just some other reason! But I really do hope to grow more and meet new furry friends rather that be a hair cut, nail trims, or more!

Forgot after photos. . . I groomed this pretty little boy! I hope he feels so much better! He might not look the prettiest but I did the best I can! he hates his legs, paws, belly, and chest being shaved! He’s okay with them being touched just without the blade😅 I’m praying he goes to a loving home and they give him the love he wants and needs!!! He is such a good boy and at first you think “this dog doesn’t like me for crap..” but once he starts to warm up to you, omg he is the best boy ever!!
I appreciate Faithful Friends Animal Advocates, Inc so much for giving me a lot of opportunities! I will for sure bring more treats☺️🤍🤍🤍!

Happy she didn’t put up a big fight, years ago she had a bad experience and had her quick clipped!! I’m happy the owner trusted me with her nails! Might not be as short as he wanted but the quick grows more the longer you wait to have the nails clipped! Eventually it will be able to go shorter than how it was today:)

Anyways, what do we think??? Bright pink is her color!!!

Tested it out on my cat, while I was cutting her nails! She is so behaved, I’ll have to give her a treat after this post🤍🤍🥰

Colors available:
Pink
Black
White
Purple
Green
Blue

I’m thinking
$4 for cats and small dogs
$6 for medium/large dogs
But prices may change the more I think about it but for now that’s what I have came up with:)!!

Had the opportunity to go volunteer at faithful friends over in Neosho!! Met these two cuties and one other one but only had the time for two and I did a bathe, dry, and cut nails on them!
My boyfriend volunteered as well come help me out:) he usually doesn’t like to because it’s not his career path but it was nice to have someone by my side and keep the babies calm!

What a pleasure it was to have bear!! I appreciate his now owners who found him and trusted me with his shave down!! Sadly it wasn’t done in one day which is expected but hopefully we can get him back in soon to finish the job!! I also had an update from the owners and his coat looks soooo much healthier!!
(I SWEAR NEXT TIME I SEE BEAR I WILL TAKE BETTER PICTURES!! I just really suck at taking pictures at this moment 😣)

GIRLLL LOOK HOW CLEAN AND WHITE LUCY’S COAT LOOKS! BEAUTIFUL BABY:)) I did a brush, bath, and a blow dry on her. Baby needs eye drops, seems like she has some allergies going on. Needed a little help with my partner since she’s a strong dog but other than that she was great!

Help me with some ideas!!
I’m thinking.. hole punch card, come three times and your next visit is free? I need to find more ways to get myself out there and to have more clients!!
Another idea I had was to make some healthy dog treats! Teeth cleaning, gut health, etc…

What are your thoughts!!??
