Who’s ready for treats WITHOUT having to sit first?! 🐾🍬

I’ll be at the Lea Springs Baptist Church Fall Festival in Blaine on Sunday, October 25, from 4–7 PM!

There’ll be food, a cake walk, fishing for apples, crafts, and lots of fall fun. Mom and I are joining the trunk-or-treat with candy, stickers, and autumn-themed coloring pages! 🍂🖍️

And I’ll be in costume! What do you think a Great Dane author should dress up as? 🤔🎃

Come say hello, show me your costume, and get some treats. I’m looking forward to a pawsome afternoon with my hometown friends! 🧡

Mom found our family between the pages of this book. ❤️

Magnum in the sunny spots. Beretta in the reminders to save someone and ask for help. Me in the very impawtent advice to make plenty of time for play.

And Re*****on in the lessons about friendship, love, and letting go. 🌈

The Dogs’ Guide to Human(Kind) by Leigh Anne Jasheway shares lessons in kindness and love from seven dachshunds. It made Mom laugh, brought a few tears, and gave her plenty to think about.

Even people who think they aren’t fond of dogs could learn something here. Starting with a little contemplation of their life choices. 😉

What if the moon looked exactly like your favorite ball? 🌙🐾

In The Moon Is My Ball, I’m pretty sure the big orange-and-blue ball in the sky is just waiting for me to catch it. So naturally, I chase it across the clouds. 😄

I don’t quite catch the moon… but Mom helps me discover that some things are prettier from right where you are. ❤️

A unicorn is daydreaming about rainbows. A dinosaur and a shark are daydreaming about snacks.

I know whose team I’m on. 😂🍪🐾

My newest From Sig’s Bookshelf review is about A Unicorn, a Dinosaur, and a Shark Were Riding a Bicycle by Jonathan Fenske! The narrator has plans for these characters… but they have opinions of their own. I can relate. 😉

I’m a little jealous of the unicorn’s colorful tail and beach ball, though. 🌈🏖️

This pick is for younger little readers, and it’s an Imagination Library book! Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library helps put free books into the hands of children from birth to age five in participating communities. 📚❤️

You don’t have to be old enough to read the words to fall in love with stories. Pictures, giggles, and a familiar voice reading aloud are a wonderful place to start.

⛈️ Have you ever wondered who makes the thunder?

I have a theory. 🐾

Maybe those great big BOOMS aren't something scary at all. Maybe, somewhere above the clouds, giant Sky Dogs are racing and playing — and every enormous paw landing on a cloud sends thunder rolling across the sky.

And the lightning? Well... you should see their collars. ✨

“Who Makes the Thunder?” is one of my dreams from Puppy Bedtime Stories: Sig Dreams. I especially like this one because by the time my dream is over, something that seemed a little scary doesn't feel quite so scary anymore. ❤️

Now when I hear the thunder call,
I smile instead of feeling small.

I’m headed to Wears Valley Fall Fest October 16–18! Mom says this is a BIG one, and coming from someone who lives with Great Danes, that means something. 😉

We're going to be inside, so don't let a little rain stop you from coming to see me! ❤️

It’s time to face the polka music… it’s going to rain. 🌧️

But Oktoberfest is still ON! And no soggy pretzels for you—we’re moving the celebration indoors.

Doors still open at noon!

Concord Brass Quintet will play in the taproom at 1 PM. 🎺

Vendors will take over the Roosevelt Room upstairs until 6 PM.

Stein hoisting will take place on the second floor stage at 5 PM. 🍺

And don’t worry, you’ll still get to see your furry friends. 🌭🐾

Main Street directly in front of 1907 will remain closed to cars for our 5th Annual Wiener Dog Race. Stay tuned for final details.
