Now that I’m home and feeling better, I have had some time to reflect on what a great time I had at this year’s Chesapeake National Specialty.

Since I’m a little crazy I brought 3 dogs to Colorado, two of which have never been on a trip away from home and one of them is a 4 month old puppy. All 3 of them were fantastic, I’m so proud of how they handled themselves.
I would not have been able to do all that I did without the help of my hubby and bestie. Thank you both so much for helping me take care of the dogs and wrangling me. 😅
HUGE shoutout to my mom and papa bear for taking care of Rebel and all of the other animals back home so we could go on this trip. Rebel had to stay home because she decided to blow ALL of her coat.

I had so much fun meeting new people, putting names to faces and spending time with friends.

♥️What a blessing to be exhausted because I spent the week making memories with some of my favorite people and dogs. ♥️

What an honor to have 3 dogs in the Top Twenty last year. Gilly, Ruhey, and Rebel! I’m so proud of them.

💕Gilly made the cut in a beautiful line up of Specials. I’m so proud of her and appreciate how hard she tries for me. We also participated in rally teams and obedience teams. We placed 2nd in obedience teams!

🧡Sailor won second in her bred-by class and went back in for reserve winners and WON finishing her championship! I am beyond proud of this girl. Her first cross county road trip and she didn’t skip a beat in the ring. (Jase x Gilly ‘24)

We had a fun weekend at the Nisqually KC show.
At show #2 on Friday Sailor was winners bitch and went BOB, BOBOH from the classes over a stellar line up of Specials and added another major towards her Championship. Thank you Mr. Wood Wornall for the win and the wonderful comments about my girl. ✨ Sailor then won a Sporting group 4 under breeder judge Mr. Nathaniel Horn, was NOHS Sporting Group 1 under Mr. Wood Wornall and went on to win NOHS Best In Show under Mr. Nathaniel Horn! Friday was a very long day and I’m incredibly proud of how this young girl handled herself. Thank you to everyone that stayed and cheered us on. I appreciate you all. 🫶🏼
