Most humans don’t realize how naturally respectful dogs are.

From the moment we are born, we teach one another boundaries and respect.

Puppies are always taught to remain calm and be respectful by the adults of the pack.

If humans learn to interact with us the same way we naturally interact with one another, they would have a lot less behavioral issues than they typically see.

can’t be taught to be is untrue.

This is one of the many adventures we often go to.

It is not difficult to achieve this, in fact, it is very simple. Just two main things that you need for this:

1. The right energy. Us dogs will not follow anyone who is anxious or fearful. We can feel how you feel and your energy tells us if we should trust you or not. If you are anxious, we won’t trust you period and if we don’t trust you, we won’t follow you. You gotta work on you if you want us to follow you.

2. Consistency. This is where discipline comes in. Having a routine and rules that are consistently followed creates a pack relationship between humans and dogs. Dogs will stick around with their pack.

This is not obedience, this is a relationship built with humans that respect us as dogs by consistently meeting our needs as dogs.

This does not mean our humans are not ever silly, it just means that silly is not the constant.

Ultimately, . You lead, the dog follows.
