After a lot of thought and reflection, I have made the difficult decision to transition out of pet care and begin a new chapter in my career.
For as long as I can remember, I have known that working in animal welfare was a path I hoped to pursue. An opportunity has come along for me to take that next step, and while I am incredibly excited for what lies ahead, it is bittersweet to step away from something that has been such a meaningful part of my life.
Pet care has been so much more than a job to me. It has allowed me to spend my days doing what I love most—caring for animals and building relationships with both pets and their families. Over the years, I have had the privilege of caring for so many incredible animals, and each one has left a lasting impact on me.
To every client who trusted me with their pets, thank you. Thank you for welcoming me into your homes, trusting me with your beloved companions, and supporting my small business. Your referrals, recommendations, reviews, and loyalty allowed me to turn my passion into something truly special, and I will always be grateful for that.
One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been the relationships I’ve built. Watching puppies grow up, caring for senior pets, celebrating milestones, and being someone you could count on has been an honor that I never took lightly.
Although I am excited to pursue a career that has been a long-term goal of mine, leaving behind the pets and families I’ve come to know and love is not easy. The memories, experiences, and friendships I’ve gained through pet care are something I will cherish forever.
Thank you for keeping me so busy, cheering me on, supporting me, and trusting me with the animals that mean so much to you. Because of you, this chapter has been more successful and fulfilling than I ever could have imagined.
As I move forward into this new path, I carry with me everything I have learned from the pets and people who helped shape this journey. I am incredibly grateful for every opportunity, every wagging tail, every happy greeting, and every moment along the way.
