👀 Alright… let’s see who knows their stuff!

DG got the opportunity to spend a few days roping and learning from someone pretty special 🤠🐴

FIRST person to correctly guess WHO she’s learning from in this picture gets some Haken Horse & Cattle Co. swag! 🎉

No hints yet. 😏

Drop your guess in the comments! 👇

One of my favorite parts of morning feed rounds… you just never know who you’re going to run into. 🦃🤎

Caught this little crew out enjoying the cool, cloudy morning right along with me.

There’s just something about mornings on the ranch that never gets old.

PSA TO ALL MY HORSE PEOPLE! 📣🐴

It’s officially time to start digging out all those winter blankets and sheets that have been shoved in the tack room since spring. 😂

We found Wash House Dry & Fold and they have been GREAT to work with! They offer FREE pickup and delivery, their pricing is super reasonable, AND they can handle repairs too, which is a huge win when you have a pile like ours. 🙈

So before that first cold snap hits and you realize every blanket you own is still covered in last winter’s mud, hair, and questionable smells… 😂 get ahead of it!

Definitely wanted to pass their info along to all my fellow horse people. Good service + reasonable prices + I don’t have to wash horse blankets myself = WIN. 👏🏼

DG and her buddy Jake putting in the work and dragging calves at the branding this weekend. 🤠

There’s just something pretty special about watching these kids get to grow up doing some of the same old-school things generations before them did and getting to do it alongside their friends and family makes it that much better.

Good horses, good friends, family, hard work, and a whole lot of fun mixed in. These are the kind of days and memories they’ll carry with them for a long time. ❤️

Just a little game of hide & seek on the morning feed route. 🥹🐮🌾

Almost missed this little cutie tucked down in the tall grass. 🤎

Wisdom From the Feed Truck Driver’s Seat 🤠

Funny how some of life’s biggest lessons hit you while you’re doing the most ordinary things.

Saw this little T sign in the road today while feeding and it got me thinking…

When life gives you a choice, don’t always choose the path of least resistance. Sometimes the road filled with hard work, discomfort, sacrifice, sweat and a few tears is the exact road that leads you to a life you wouldn’t trade for anything.

Choose the road worth taking. 🤍
