We are a nonprofit animal rescue that saves stray, neglected, and abandoned Aruban dogs. We are a proud member of the Caribbean Rescue Coalition.

Created from the passion and determination of our founding member Natalya Yermak, New Life for Paws’ mission is to rescue as many stray, neglected, and abandoned Aruban dogs as possible while also advocating for spay/neuter programs to reduce the overwhelming amount of street dogs on the island. We provide shelter, food, and veterinary treatment for each of the rescues save. Everything our small but mighty team does is on a volunteer basis – and our work is only possible due to donations made by people like you!

🌶️ OK PEOPLE, SPICY NEEDS HER FOREVER FAMILY! ❤️

Let’s address the elephant in the room. Her name is Spicy, and we know what you’re thinking…

“OH BOY. She’s got TUDE. No thanks!” 🙄

Except… plot twist. This girl’s personality is SPECTACULARLY SWEET. Her foster mom is absolutely in love with her, and Spicy even gets along with her cat. Granted, the cat also thinks it’s a dog, but we’re counting it! 😂🐱🐶

💕 SPICY NEEDS A NEW FOSTER OR, EVEN BETTER, HER FOREVER FAMILY!

Her amazing foster has to leave in a week, so we’re hoping to find Spicy a soft place to land and people to love.

Two applications came in. One ghosted. The other decided it wasn’t the right time. And honestly? for knowing when the timing isn’t right.

Now we need YOUR help getting this sweet girl seen! ❤️

🌶️ MEET THE GIRL BEHIND THE NAME:

🐾 Age: Approximately 7 months old
⚖️ Weight: Around 20 lbs, and this girl LOVES her food! 😂
💉 Medical: Spayed and vaccinated
🐕 Dogs: GREAT! Check out our stories for video evidence or see the comments below.
🐈 Cats: Great with her feline friend, especially since they PLAY together!
🔇 Barking: Not a barker. Apartment living? Looking good!
🏡 Crate: Does great while her foster mom works a regular job. Mom comes home at lunch for a walk and potty break because apparently, not everyone gets to work from home in 2026. 🙃
🚽 Potty training: About 90% there! Occasionally, she forgets she’s supposed to go outside. She’s a puppy, not a robot.
👧👦 Kids: YES, PLEASE!

🐕 DO YOU HAVE A BIG DOG WHO NEEDS A BESTIE? 😂🐾

Look no further, we have Casper! 👻 This 7-month-old cutie is absolutely OBSESSED with his Rottie foster brother, Vader. ❤️

Honestly, we’re not sure who he loves more… Vader or Lamby. It’s a toss-up! 🐑🤣

⚠️ CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED: Casper steals Vader’s toys and stuffies and proudly stashes them in his crate. Apparently, sharing is optional. 😂

But there’s SO much more to love about this little guy!

🐕 Big dogs? YES, PLEASE! He and Vader are best buddies.

🐱 Cats? Casper has such a wonderful temperament that we think cats could fit right into his life, too!

🛋️ Professional cuddler: He chills on the couch and paws your arm for more pets. It’s ridiculously adorable!

💼 Office mascot: He goes to work with his mom and politely naps in his airline carrier bag. What a good little coworker!

🚽 Potty trained! Because he’s a gentleman.

👶 Kiddos: He’ll take a moment to scope them out, then basically say, “Okay, pet me, peasant.” 👑😂

❤️ The important stuff: Neutered, vaccinated, just 15 lbs, and expected to stay under 20 lbs!

This little sweetie is just 13 pounds at approx 6 months old. We don’t expect her to get much bigger than 20 pounds or so.

Her favorite things are toys, treats and snuggles 🥰
She’s working on potty training, crate training and walking on a leash.
She spayed and UTD on vaccines and prevention.

All she needs now is someone that will promise to love her forever and continue helping her to become the best little pup that we know she will be. 😍

💔 TWO ADOPTIONS HAVE FALLEN THROUGH… CAN WE PLEASE GET SPICY HER FOREVER FAMILY? 🥺❤️‍🩹

This sweet girl has had TWO adopters fall through, and we are praying that the third time is the charm for our Spicy girl. 🙏❤️ She deserves a family who sees how special she is and is willing to give her the time, patience, and love she needs to blossom.

Meet SPICY! 🌶️ Don’t let her name fool you… this 6-month-old, 18 lb girl is a whole lot of sweetness wrapped up in one adorable little package! 🥹

Here’s what you need to know about this girl:

👧 Kids: Great with kids of all ages! She’s still learning her manners and can jump when she gets excited.

🐶 Dogs: Yes! She loves being around other dogs once she has a little time to warm up.

🐈 Cats: Yes! She can play a little rough, so a confident, playful cat would likely be the best match.

🚽 Potty Training: About 90% there! She’s so close to mastering it.

🏡 Crate Training: Settles nicely in her crate while her foster is at work.

🛏️ Bedtime: Loves sleeping in bed with her foster and her furry friend, Jazzy. 💕

🚙 Car Rides: Settles well with a dog seat belt. Without one, she’d love to roam around the car, so safe restraint is a must!

🐕 Leash Skills: Walks nicely on a leash, though she still pulls a bit. She’s mastered neighborhood streets and wooded trails, with trails being her favorite! Cars can still be a little scary.

💗 Personality: Spicy can be nervous in new situations, but with encouragement, patience, and time, she warms up to most things. She just needs someone who will believe in her and let her build confidence at her own pace.

Spicy isn’t looking for a perfect family. She’s looking for HER family. The one who won’t give up on her, who will celebrate her progress, and who will love her through the learning curves. 🥹🐾

Two families have fallen through, but we refuse to stop hoping that her forever person is still out there. Could it be you? Or maybe you know someone who needs a little Spicy in their life? 🌶️❤️

🥹 Adoptions going slower then ever!!!!!!Our finances are in shambles cause the adoptions aren’t happening! We spend a fortune nearly everyday at the vet and on food! Donations are down and STILLL PUPPIES ARE BEING BORN AND DUMPED AND WE HAVE SUCH A LOVE AND COMMITMENT TO SAVE THEM even when we are drowning ourselves!

Fosters have to be available to fly our next litter! This litter is a very extremely special litter these puppies we taken in after we found they were being beaten where they were born 😫😭 They were so unwanted they wanted to kill them with pieces of wood and big rocks… they were soooo friendly they would run right into the monsters that would then try to kill them 😔 a few babies were killed with wood with nails sticking out The others were rescued many had been hurt badly!!!! The vet bills from that litter alone are still not paid!
Besides all that these babies did survive and we are so blessed to have them healthy And Soooo incredibly happy!!! They have Names and are loved 🥰 in aruba and are ready to FLYYY ✈️ BUTT
With No fosters available Where the heck are they flying to????? Our new foster coordinator is actually in a panic 😱 she has reached out to everyone and she just said now THEY CANT FLY WE HAVE NOOOOOOO ONE 😭😢🥺😭
I say THAT IS GONNA CHANGE FAST cause this post is gonna have my phone ringing off the wall!!

🚨 HOW IS RANGER STILL AVAILABLE?! 😭🐾

Seriously… look at that FACE! 🥹❤️ How could you possibly pass up this handsome, goofy, bouncy little guy?!

Ranger is full of puppy energy, loves playing fetch, enjoys his fenced-in yard, and is an expert at playing hard and crashing even harder. He’s still learning his puppy manners, but he’s got so much love and personality to give his future family. 🐶💕

All he needs is someone to look at that sweet face and say, “THAT’S MY DOG!” 🏡❤️
