It’s hard to believe these babies are 2 weeks old! Maui is cautching up to his sisters sizes pretty well! Penelope(no collar) is so funny and likes to come up to have me hold her. Ivory is a little more weary of being held but she’s ok if I pet her lol. They’re all 3 so funny and like to pose for the camera just like their mama! ❤️

Happy June Dairy Month! 🥛🐐

While cows may get most of the spotlight, we’re here to celebrate “the other” dairy animal — goats!

Dairy goats provide delicious milk, support farms and families, and bring a whole lot of personality to the dairy industry. This month, we’re raising a glass to the hardworking does, dedicated breeders, and everyone who knows that great dairy comes in more than one size.

This little chunk nugget is 7.28lbs! He has gained more in 10 days than he weighed at birth! He graduated from the house to the kidding pen in the milking shed. He is loving his space to jump around lol once he gets to 10lbs he will move outside! We named him Maui because just like Maui on Moana he is small but has Gods strength!

Sugar gave us our for sure last 2026 baby ending the year with another single buckling 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣 that puts us at 9 bucklings and 5 doelings born here this year. Although we wanted more doelings, each baby has been perfect in their own ways! God is good! Even with terrible nutrition, the only defects the two bucklings have had are correctable with selenium! They’re both strong! Everyone meet Chance 🥰

Everyone meet Nutmeg, Sugar, Chewbacca, and Dolly! They joined our farm from a pretty rough living environment. We are working diligently to get them healthy and properly groomed. Dolly got sheared for the first time today and man does she feel better! She was really struggling in the heat with all that wool! Chewbacca got to join the boys pen after being treated for lice. Sugar is doing good. She had her feet trimmed and treated for lice. Nutmeg gave us a little Memorial Day surprise! She gave birth to a single buckling with bright blue eyes! He is actually pretty healthy looking other than his hips being a little loose but he can walk and jump around. Nutmeg is on the thin side so we are watching closely to make sure she doesn’t lose any weight and is able to provide well for little man who we have named Freedom. Sugar is also pregnant and will more than likely kid in the next few days. Please pray that we have a good kidding and that all 4 of them get healthy and get to be happy!

This little guy just keeps defying the odds. From a completely floppy no energy 3lb newborn to this completely different tiny creature! He got to play outside and finally is taking a bottle rather than needing tube fed. He has gained some weight not much but any is a win in my book! He is getting stronger everyday! And he just downed a 4oz bottle!❤️ he still doesn’t have a name because nothing has felt right to call him yet but I know soon it will just click🥰

Well this should be interesting....

This week I'm heading north to pick up a herd of Nigerian dwarf adult pregnant Does from a breeder that I've worked with for years but unfortunately needs to sell everyone, I haven't got the exact number I know there's at least more than 20 possibly up to 35+

And of course my husband's opinion was 🤦🙅 BUT I'm doing it 😂
