Please consider helping our dear friend Belle!

Our sweet Belle is currently receiving care in the ICU at Arizona Equine Hospital after developing a 104°F fever and becoming significantly dehydrated.

Despite cooling her down and offering water and electrolytes, her hydration did not improve enough. Our veterinarian administered fluids and performed initial bloodwork, which indicated that Belle’s body is fighting an infection. We made the difficult decision to take her to the hospital so she can receive continued IV fluids, treatment and close monitoring.

Emergency veterinary care comes with significant and unexpected expenses. We would be incredibly grateful for any support toward Belle’s hospitalization, testing, treatment and recovery. Every donation—no matter the amount—will make a meaningful difference.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this post is another wonderful way to support Belle.

Thank you for supporting Belle and all the rescued animals who call Desert Rain Therapeutic Farm home. Please keep our sweet girl in your thoughts as she receives the care she needs and works toward coming home.

Rescue. Thrive. Sustain.

When you don’t want your fly mask on you pretend you are attached to your sister. After a game of tag the mask was successfully put on 🤗

This Is What Going Above and Beyond Looks Like 🫏❤️

Desert Donkey Experiences and AZ Burro Buddies have been caring for Baby, a sick donkey battling colic, closely monitoring food intake, water, urine, and stool output.

Inspector P**p aka Alyssa went the extra mile by carefully examining the stool and discovered a significant amount of sand and grit—which may have contributed to, or potentially triggered, the colic.

This is what going above and beyond looks like: paying attention to every detail, advocating for our animals, and doing everything we can to help them feel better. 🫏❤️
