Just a friendly reminder that I will be out of the office on the following dates:

📅 August 19th–23rd
📅 August 28th–30th

During this time, I will have two trusted individuals helping cover my scheduled pet care visits. They are both dependable, trustworthy, and have my full confidence to provide the same loving care your pets are used to receiving.

If you'd feel more comfortable meeting them beforehand, I'd be more than happy to schedule a consultation so you and your pets can get to know them before my time away.

If you need pet care before, after, or during these dates, please reach out as soon as possible so we can get everything scheduled and make sure your pets are well taken care of.

🇺🇸❤️ Happy 4th of July from Southern Snouts! ❤️🇺🇸
As you celebrate with family, friends, and fireworks, don't forget about your furry (and feathered, scaly, and hoofed) family members too! 🎆🐾
The 4th of July is one of the busiest times of the year for lost pets. Loud fireworks can cause even the calmest animals to panic and run.
Before heading out to celebrate, take a few extra minutes to: 🐾 Double-check all gates, fences, doors, and windows. 🐾 Make sure collars fit properly and ID tags are up to date. 🐾 Keep pets safely indoors in a quiet, secure space during fireworks. 🐾 Let a trusted friend or pet sitter check on them if you'll be away.
A few minutes of preparation can make all the difference and help ensure your babies stay safe at home where they belong. ❤️

June was another month full of happy tails, wet noses, swimming adventures, hoping rabbits, and even some feathered friends 🐾🤍

I seriously can’t believe we are already halfway through the year! Time is flying, and I am so thankful for every single client who trusts me to care for their babies like they are my own.

This month brought some exciting moments — including welcoming a brand new baby kitten to one of my client families 🐱🤍 and welcoming a new client into the Southern Snouts family!

We also had a little unexpected adventure when one of my sweet pups had a little “booboo” pop up while his family was out of town. I was able to get him taken care of and to the vet when he needed it, and I’m happy to say he is back to being his happy, playful self 🐶💙

From dogs and cats to fish, rabbits, and chickens — I love getting to care for so many different personalities and being trusted with your babies while you’re away.

Thank you all for another amazing month of wagging tails and happy hearts. I can’t wait to see what July brings! 🐾✨

🐾 Meet the pack behind Southern Snouts 🐾

Before I started caring for your pets, I spent years loving and learning from my own. They have taught me patience, trust, and what it truly means to love an animal like family. ❤️

🐶 Tasha
My first baby that was fully mine ❤️ Tasha is one of my rescue babies, and I got her 7 years ago. She is around 8–9 years old and has truly never left my side. She is sweet, loving, protective, and always ready for the next adventure — whether that’s hunting, fishing, swimming, or going on a long walk. We saved each other, and she will always have such a special place in my heart. 🐾

🐶 Mia
Mia is my sweet girl who has been with us since she was just a puppy. She is 9 years old and has always been the most loving, gentle girl. She loves being outdoors, going on adventures, and spending time with her people. She has been nothing but amazing, and we couldn’t imagine life without her. ❤️

🐶 Smokey
I rescued Smokey when he was only 3 weeks old, and he has been my little shadow ever since. If you ask him if he wants to go anywhere, he is already waiting at the door 😂 He is loyal, loving, and always right there with me and his siblings. 🖤

🐶 Beluga
The newest member of the pack 🤍 I have only had Beluga since April, and he is already such a special boy. At only 4 months old, he has been the sweetest and smartest puppy. He still has lots to learn, but watching him grow and seeing how much he loves his brothers and sister has been so amazing. I can’t wait to see where life takes us. 🐾

These four are the reason I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. Every animal deserves patience, love, and care — and that’s exactly what I strive to give through Southern Snouts. ❤️🐾

📅 Southern Snouts LLC Holiday Availability Update

I am currently fully booked for July 2nd–4th and will not be accepting any additional at-home pet care requests during those dates.

However, I do have one midday opening available between June 29th and July 1st if anyone is in need of pet care services during that time.

🐾 May was an incredible month for Southern Snouts! 🐾
As May comes to an end, I just want to say how thankful I am for all of my amazing clients and their pets. This month I've had the pleasure of caring for so many wonderful animals from playful dogs and affectionate cats to turtles, snakes, and other unique pets. Every animal has their own personality, and I truly enjoy getting to know each and every one of them.
Thank you for trusting me to care for your pets while you're away. Your support means the world to this small, one-person business, and I look forward to meeting even more furry, feathered, and scaled friends in the months ahead!
