Could you open your heart and home to foster a sweet dog named Rocky? We believe him to be about 4 years old, 15 lbs. and a Shih Tzu mix. He can be here on Sunday so a foster is needed now.

Rocky was recently attacked by other dogs in Yakima after being dumped on the streets, but he is currently on the mend. Despite his tough past, he remains full of love for life and people. He needs a soft place to continue recuperating and regaining his strength.

CHEW Dog Rescue covers all medical appointments—including his upcoming neuter procedure—mentors you throughout the fostering process, and provides all necessary equipment. Fostering works best for volunteers located in our surrounding communities.
Foster applications located at www.chewdogrescue.org
You can give this little guy a 2nd chance at a much better life.

Subaru's 8th Annual National Make a Dog's Day is all about doing something extra special for your pet. If you don't already have a house full, what better way to celebrate than by adopting or fostering an animal in need? How are YOU celebrating?

CHEW Dog Rescue was able to give back to our Community by hosting a no cost vet wellness clinic in Tacoma at the Annabee Low Income Housing apartments. Harbor Animal Hospital, Gig Harbor, with Dr. Carla Rasmussen and tech Alicia administered the wellness check up and vacicnes while CHEW help with client paperwork and nail trims. Dogs and cats were both cared for with CHEW covering the tab for all with no cost at all to the owners. It takes a village to save a dog and CHEW is currently in a position to give back which we were glad to do. We hope to do more of these outreach events.
