This is why we love to give our young horses well rounded experience! Duke was a rockstar on his first solo trip anywhere, waiting on a brand new trailer for it to be his turn and then hacking walk, trot, canter all by himself in the MASSIVE Kentucky Horse Park cross country fields! Such a good head on this one's shoulders! He did say there is no way horses actually jump those giant things 😂😂😂

Penelope is feeling much better after her abscess and is back at it teaching lessons! Great to meet you today Deandre!

Molly and Lauren putting in the work to get back to jumping the big sticks! Grid work is perfect for building height and allowing the exercise to help the horses sort out the solution for themselves. Board and training spots still available for anyone wanting to join in on the fun!

Odessa (by Cantavos and out of a Popeye K mare) is a flashy, kind, correct 2019 hunter mare standing at 16.1h. If you are looking for a partner who will snuggle in the barn and put in just the right amount of effort in the ring, Odessa is your girl! She was started at 3 before having 2 foals the last few years and then has been brought back into work by a professional this winter. She is absolutely thriving while showing unlimited potential for the hunter ring! She jumped her first jumps in January of this year, marched around the .60m jumpers and 2' future hunters at WEC in March and has now made her baby green debut successfully at Kentucky Spring Classic! She has changes both directions, as well as gaits and a jump to die for! Jumps a 10 every time from every distance, happy to slow down for the add or has an easy canter to get down the lines in the step. Also hacks out alone or with friends and loves to have a nice hack in the field! I could go on and on about how much fun she is! While Odessa is happy to tolerate mistakes from her rider she is not quite ready for a total beginner and can get frustrated if she feels she is being punished for her rider's mistakes or a rider is balancing on her mouth. She would be a great fit for an amateur in a program where she is still able to get regular training rides to continue bringing her along.

Located on the north side of Lexington about 10 minutes from KHP or available to try at KHP during Kentucky Spring Classic
⛵ (mid 5s) or borrow for (low 5s with a preference for in barn lease and only to an approved show home with references).

Day one of Kentucky Spring was a success! Both Odessa and Cambridgeshire improved so much from the last show and were so brave, even through the strong winds. I’m so grateful for such an amazing group of horses and team behind me! Here’s to another great day tomorrow!

A great schooling day for Cambridgeshire and Odessa! As per usual trainer brain took over and we got very few pictures, but they were both very brave and solid citizens! Ready for the baby greens tomorrow!

👑Chances Are (Charlie) was absolutely perfect for YHS this weekend! From walking straight from the trailer to the ring, getting 🥈in the two-year-old jump chute, qualifying for finals in both the jump chute and at-liberty classes, she was a dream! She settled into the show atmosphere perfectly, not making a peep while other horses were calling and settling into her stall beautifully! I’m so proud of her and hoping she’s set the stage for the big kids at Kentucky Spring Classic next week!
