🤠 Buckaroo Camp Photo Dump Post

Little boots. Big smiles. Even bigger memories.

Our Buckaroos spent the day learning, laughing, and getting a taste of rodeo life the best way possible—hands-on and full of adventure.

From stick horse races and roping games to horse interactions, crafts, and making new friends, these young cowgirls showed up ready to learn and have fun.

We loved watching each Buckaroo grow a little taller, smile a little bigger, and leave a little more confident than when they arrived.

🐓 Learn.
⭐ Build.
🤠 Finish with Confidence.

Our mock rodeo gave campers the chance to put their skills to the test in a fun and supportive competition environment. From the horse saver to quick dismounts and goat tying, every run required focus, determination, and grit.

Every run built confidence, sharpened skills, and showed these young cowgirls what it means to cowgirl up. 🤠🐓🐐

Learn. Build. Finish with Confidence.

These girls brought the grit, smiles, and cowgirl energy. 🤠

Goat tying was a camp favorite — and every camper stepped in, tried hard, learned something new, and finished strong.

The best part wasn’t just the skill. It was watching them cheer each other on, build confidence, and walk away proud of what they accomplished.

At Rodeo Summer Camp, our focus was simple:

Learn. Build. Finish.

Each day had a purpose:
Trust. Patience. Confidence.

The camp was built for hands-on learning, having fun, and making memories they’ll carry with them.

Proud of every one of these campers.

🤠 What a Week at JST Rockin B Ranch! 🐓

It's been a busy and rewarding week with our Rodeo Fundamentals and Buckaroo Camps!

We've captured hundreds of photos and are working our way through them all. There are so many great memories, smiles, and special moments to share that it's taking us a little time to sort through everything.

In the meantime, here are a few sneak peeks from an incredible week at the ranch.

Thank you to all of our campers and families for making our first summer camp season such a success. We can't wait to share more highlights over the coming days!

šŸ“ø Stay tuned for full Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, and Buckaroo Camp photo dumps.

It takes a special horse to become a lesson horse. Some make it, others do not. Milo is shaping to be one that makes it.

What a pretty day for some lessons!!!!!

This week in Equine Studies, students explored the integumentary system through one of the most critical areas of horse health—hoof care.

Grounded in the principle ā€œNo hoof, no horse,ā€ the class focused on understanding hoof structure, along with how circulation and proper nutrition directly influence hoof strength and soundness.

What made this experience stand out was the hands-on approach. Students didn’t just study the role of a farrier—they participated in it, assisting with rasping and seeing the balance and precision required up close.

It’s a learning model built on doing, not just observing—helping students connect science, skill, and real-world application in a meaningful way.

Last week in our Equine Science program, students dove into the Integumentary System—learning how a horse’s skin, hair, and glands work together to protect and support overall health.

Students built hands-on models of the three layers of skin and explored how sweat glands and oil glands function. All of this learning happens right in the barn, where students can immediately observe, discuss, and apply what they’re learning on actual horses.

This is what makes our program different:
šŸ‘‰ Not just learning about horses
šŸ‘‰ Learning through horses

Connecting science, real-world application, and hands-on experience is where true understanding happens—and these kids are rockin it. šŸ‘

If you’ve been thinking about signing up, now is a great time to grab a spot while availability is still open šŸ‘

šŸ‘‰ It’s only a $50 deposit to reserve your child’s spot, with the remaining balance due closer to camp.

Our goal is to build fun, energetic groups where kids can learn, grow, and have a great experience together—so spots are limited.

🤠 If these dates don’t work, reach out and I can add you to our rodeo waitlist for future camp openings.
