Happy Vet Tech week. We appreciate all our past, present and future techs!

10/19/2026

This week, we’re celebrating the veterinary technicians who bring skill, compassion, and dedication to every part of patient care. Their work happens both in front of clients and behind the scenes, and our clinic simply couldn’t do what we do without them. To our amazing veterinary technicians: thank you for all that you do!

A healthy weight can support your pet’s mobility, comfort, and overall wellness. If you’re unsure whether your pet is at an ideal weight, ask our team at your next visit—we’re happy to help with nutrition and weight-management guidance.

Good Afternoon!
Just a heads up for everyone we will be closing at 2PM on 10/16. If you are in need of veterinary care after we close we recommend reaching out to any of the urgent cares in the area, or Rochester Emergency Veterinary Services.

For any medication refills we request you give us at least 24 business hours in advance to get them approved by a doctor and filled.

As always Dr. Christopher Brunson and Dr. Katherine Brunson are still accepting new patients. If you'd like to book an appointment please give us a call at (585)270-5600 or send us an email at [email protected]

Everyone have a great week!

Happy October!
Autumn brings seasonal hazards like mushrooms, rodenticides, certain plants, and holiday foods. Keep curious pets away from anything unfamiliar and call your veterinary team if you’re concerned about a possible exposure.

Daya Urgent Veterinary Services will be open today and tomorrow from 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Our hospital will then be closed September 13–18 while our team attends IVECCS 2026 (International Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Symposium) for continuing education. We will reopen Saturday, September 19, from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Why continuing education matters to us:

Veterinary medicine is constantly evolving. Continuing education gives our team the opportunity to learn about new treatments, diagnostics, emergency and critical-care techniques, and advancements in veterinary medicine. By investing in education, we can bring new knowledge and skills back to our hospital and continue improving the care we provide to our patients and community.

While we are closed, please visit our Resource List for information on other veterinary and emergency-care options: https://duvs.vet/resource-list/

Thank you for your understanding and support as our team continues to learn, grow, and advance the care we provide.
