Here’s a little Goku update after visiting my sis n law this morning after work. 🥹🧡🐾
First of all, the first two pictures absolutely KILL me. 😂 That Shiba sass was in FULL effect. The first one is giving, “Ooohp, she’s taking my picture…” and then the very next one he stuck his nose straight up in the air like, “NOT without my permission.” 😂🙄 Sir, I helped raise you. I’ll take the picture. 🤣
But then I got a few little tongue kisses, so I think it’s safe to say he’s missed me. 🥹❤️
Goku is over a year old now, and one of my favorite things about visiting him is that every single time, it feels like we just pick right back up where we left off. There’s no warming back up to me or acting like I’m a stranger. Somewhere in that stubborn little Shiba brain, I truly believe he KNOWS we were his people for those first 12 weeks of his life. 🥹 We raised him, loved him, watched his little personality develop, and then got to watch him go to his forever loving home. ❤️🐾
He’s had a rough few weeks with my sis n law being in the hospital. Having his mama gone really shook his little world upside down, so I know he is SO happy to finally have her back home where she belongs. ❤️ 😂🥰
And then THIS was him watching me leave. 😭😭 Standing up on the couch watching me through the window like, “Ummm… excuse me, where do you think YOU’RE going?!” 🥺🐕❤️
If that doesn’t tell me he remembers exactly who I am, I don’t know what does. 😭
No matter how big he gets or how much time passes between visits, he’ll always be one of my babies.
