Like I said yesterday, Jette’s foster mamas are rescuing machines. 😺. Meet 2 YO Walter. He has been at ASAP (our favorite vet) for a month. Crystal was there with another cat and she brought him home.

Walter is such a lover cat. Loves humans. Likes dogs. Likes other cats for the most part. Depends on the cat. Welcome to Jette’s, Walter.

UPDATE: This girl 😸 (Amber) went to the vet. She is 3-4 YO. No microchip. Naturally she has the usual parasites from living outside, but she will be fine after medication and some good food for a while.

Sooooo, Jette’s fosters are rescuing machines. Michelle rescued this guy today in a parking lot at a doctor’s office. Dehydrated and hungry.
“Yes, he can be a Jette’s foster kitty.” 😺. He goes to the vet tomorrow for an exam.

Update: Got one last minute spay/neuter appt for tomorrow so went over to the neighbor’s just now and trapped one kitty. Name: Jose or Josie. We shall find out tomorrow. 😁

Never a dull moment in kitty rescue. Yesterday was quite the day. Zippy (with a broken leg) went to the vet. He is none too happy about his cast. (Got his cone off immediately.)
Discovered a neighbor has about 10 cats. All look alike. Siblings to the one I got out of a car engine around the corner a couple weeks ago. And mom. And mom’s siblings and cousins and grandparents.
But cuteness abounds. Siamese kittens and mama nursing her little ones…. And two cats who will go back to their person next week. Sighhhhhh

WHY is it that this ONE cat bed is the one all 3 want to sleep in??? 😂. That is Megan’s (white cat) favorite bed but Ashley always wants to sleep in it so Megan can’t. Now Journey (who I am boarding for an adopter while she’s on vacation) decided he must sleep in it? Poor Megan. But it’s not like it’s the only cat bed in the room.

P.S. I did add 2 more of that exact same cat bed in the room. Hopefully everyone will be happy.

In May, June and July, Jette’s had a total of 13 adoptions. Amazing since only 2 were kittens. (I haven’t posted the 23 kittens available yet but soon.)
Misty Blue, Skye, Chris, Ada, Artemis and Athena, Siren, Mitsubishi, Baxter, Ginger, Nacho, Marky Mark and more.

Jette’s “June Kitten” Chronicles, the mini series.

In the last 24 hours, we rescued a Siamese mama and her 3 kittens and one tiny, sick kitten who stopped traffic before a Good Samaritan grabbed him/her. That kitten is in my bathtub. I was on my way to dance class when this all unfolded. Took a team, but kitties are “safe with me” @ Jette’s Foster Critters… our email address.

You folks seeing this video are getting to see the added inspection by rescue Salcatta tortoise Barney Rubel, while me and a volunteer built temp suites inside a catio for the Siamese mama and another one for her kittens. 100 lb Barney Rubel seemed to approve.
