I kinda like this post. Interesting post. 😊. But it is true how one unspayed female can turn into a whole colony in a matter of months.

Please explain this behavior to me. MY cat of 10 years, Enchante, has done this since I adopted her as a kitten. And again just now as usual. She dips her paw in the water many times and licks it. Then finally drinks. She has to check 20 times that it IS actually water? checks again, and THEN decides, YES, since it IS actually water, she will drink? 😂. Apparently so.

Thankfully most of the foster cats I’ve had in my house the last 8 years haven’t copy catted. Most.

It would seem the foster kitties had a party last night while I was sleeping. Looks of pure innocence by all. 😂

Then there was the black cat from down the street sitting on my back porch this morning waiting for food. He knows my drop trap is not here. It’s at the neighbor’s house. He is part of the colony of 10 I discovered down the street that we have been trapping this week to get fixed. I named him Sly. The 2nd day we trapped, he was laying around at the neighbor’s house when we got there but walked down the street toward my house. When we were done and I was heading home, he was walking from my yard back to the neighbor’s house. I swear he was snickering.

Trapping is hard. This gorgeous Siamese mama is getting spayed tomorrow. She is in heat so she is a bit emotional and fierce.

Crystal Arai to the rescue. I was wondering how I was going to do it. I can trap but I don’t do it that often. Plus, I have a very sore throat/feverish, but these kitties need to get spayed/neutered. Crystal is quite the expert trapper. She fosters for Jette’s but does her own rescue/TNR thing too. Thank you SO much, Crystal, for helping me the last couple of days ….and tonight and tomorrow with the 10 cats down the street from my house. Couldn’t do it without you!
This one was actually dangerous for Crystal. She is fearless. 😻
