Meet Galaxy. 🐾
This sweet girl first met our team under some pretty scary circumstances. After being hit by a car, Galaxy’s mom rushed her to our office so we could assess her injuries and care for her wounds.
Thankfully, Galaxy did not have any broken bones or internal injuries, but she did have several wounds that needed immediate attention. Because Galaxy had originally been a stray, her family was understandably not prepared for the unexpected financial burden that came with her accident.
As we discussed options for Galaxy’s care, we were able to offer some help through Brandie’s Hope, our nonprofit fund. Her owner contributed toward the cost of her treatment, and Brandie’s Hope provided assistance with the remaining balance so Galaxy could receive the care she needed. ❤️
Brandie’s Hope was established in 2021 following the loss of our beloved team member, Brandie. We wanted to create something meaningful in her memory—something that would continue her legacy by helping animals and families in our community when unexpected circumstances arise.
Each year, we raise money for Brandie’s Hope through our annual Open House and Silent Auction. Every bid and donation helps make stories like Galaxy’s possible.
