We attended our first last night and WOW! What a fun event! 🤩

I’m just coming up on a year in this beautiful city and I am loving getting to know the community better. I met so many amazing vendors and artisans, and Suede and Beignet really put their training to the test! 🐾

A lesser known fact about me is that I LOVE festivals, markets, etc. both for the shopping and for the exposure that it provides dogs. So excited that this season is underway! 💐

Happy Saturday! 🌤️

Just a reminder - we have hundreds of yards of creek bordering our property. If dogs like water, they’re probably going to get a little dirty & smelly while they’re here! 💦

We love letting dogs have this camp-like experience, but we are happy to add on a “go home bath” for any boarding dogs. Most Board & Trains during the warmer months receive a complimentary go home bath. 🧼

Betty is only here for 4 days, but she made them count 🐾

Goodbyes are never easy… 😭

So instead we said, “See you later 👋🏻” and wished Steel and Hazel lots of fun ahead on warm beaches, campsites, and adventures with their people. 🏕️🏖️

Both of these pups came through our board & train program last year & became like family to us! Imagine our heartache hearing each of their families were moving and so close together! We learned their quicks, saw them through phases of their life, enjoyed their silly antics, and will miss each of them so much!

We can only hope our paths will cross again one day 🤍

Group training opportunity this weekend! Open to clients and non-clients alike. Stop by, ask questions, socialize, and use the controlled environment to your advantage to work on skills your dog may need.

This is very informal with no curriculum, show up whenever you can and stay for as long as your dog can handle. Danielle will be on site with training dogs and demo dogs to create training plans or help you troubleshoot problems, fit gear, etc.

At Bravo K9, boarding is charged by the day - which is what many in home, personalized boarding providers are transitioning to.

This structure works best for everyone involved. It means we don’t have to calculate hours of care or be strict about drop-off and pick-up times within our business hours - you incur the same cost regardless of when your dog arrives or heads home. It also encourages earlier drop offs, so that dogs can be tired and settled in before bed time comes.

While larger/chain boarding facilities may advertise nightly rates, they often require pick-up prior to a certain time to avoid additional fees, and many enrichment activities and playtimes are considered add-ons. So while you may be charged “by the night,” those hidden costs can add up quickly.

We know every dog is an individual, and we cater their stay to them. Some need us to sit with them while they eat, some want to run with friends, some prefer to explore the creek solo, and some enjoy a mix of it all - and the best part? There’s no extra charge for individualized care.

We care for your dogs the same way we care for our own: keeping them happy and enriched in ways that meet their personal needs.
