Autumatic Weapon 💙

A 73.5 and a 2nd place finish in the fence work at the South Texas Reined Cow Horse Association show in Bryan, and honestly, I'm just as proud of his try as I am the score. This c**t has more in him than a score on a page can show.

Thank you Rhonda Lacroix for trusting me with him. We are so excited to watch where his future takes him the rest of the futurity season.

It's easy to let emotions take over when things aren't happening as quickly as I'd hoped. I want to see progress and always keep moving forward. But I'm learning that not everything needs to happen on my timeline.

I'm thankful for the reminder that God sees what I can't. My job is to keep showing up, keep working, and trust Him with the timing of the business, the horses, and everything else He's placed in my hands. 💙

Some days I still can't believe this is real.

I've spent a lot of years praying for room to grow, for a place to build something that lasts, for the kind of foundation that doesn't just serve me but serves every horse and every client who walks onto it. And instead of rushing to the finish line on my own timeline, I keep trying to remember to just be thankful for what's already been given.

This barn isn't just dirt and plans right now. It's an answer. It's proof that patience and trust in God's timing beats forcing something before it's ready, every single time.

Grateful doesn't even cover it. 🩵

Someone once doubted I'd last in this business because I had something to fall back on. A different path. A way out if the long days and harder lessons ever got to be too much.

Here's the thing they missed.

I've clocked in at a real job before. I know that grind. And what it taught me wasn't how to run from this life, it was how to recognize the difference between a paycheck and a calling.

I'm not still here because I ran out of other options. I'm here because I know exactly who's leading the way. 🩵

"Sidekick" has the kindest spirit. He's sired by The Darkk Side and he's built strong. What gets me every time is how willing he is, whatever I ask of him, he just tries.

It’s easy to focus on where I hope to be next, but I’m so thankful for where God has me today. Looking back, I can see His faithfulness through every season and how He’s continued to guide my steps. I’m incredibly grateful to wake up each day and do what I love, and the more I trust Him with what’s ahead, the more peace I find in simply being faithful where He has me. 🩵
