Meet Stella! 🐾💕

One of the best things you can do with a puppy is help them get desensitized to being handled. Touching their paws, ears, checking their teeth and getting them used to gentle restraint will make grooming and veterinary visits much less stressful as they grow up. 🐶

Hurley was all smiles and cuddles during his neuter procedure/recovery. 🐾💙

From surgery to recovery, Hurley was in great hands with our team. One of our surgical techs, Britan, helped care for Hurley during his neuter procedure before he enjoyed some well earned recovery cuddles and showed off his silly post-op personality.

🐱💙 Senior cats deserve a little extra care and a lot of extra love!

When our feline friends age, changes in their health can be subtle and easy to miss. Regular wellness exams and routine bloodwork can help detect age-related conditions early, which also allows us to provide the best care possible!

Common signs to watch for in senior cats:

☀️😎 Buzzy is serving summer style, but even the coolest pups need protection from the heat!

As temperatures rise, dogs and cats can overheat much faster than people. Always provide plenty of fresh water, access to shade, and avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day! 😎
💬Keep in mind hot pavement can also burn sensitive paw pads!

Signs of heat exhaustion may include excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting or lethargicness. If you notice any of these signs, move your pet to a cool area and contact your veterinarian right away.

Stay safe, stay hydrated, and stay cool in this heat! 💙🐾

Ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive diagnostic tool, that allows our veterinarians to get a closer look at your pet’s internal organs and identify any concerns that may not be visible on physical exams or X-rays.

At Suburban, we offer a VARIETY of diagnostic services to help us better understand what’s going on beneath the surface! From bloodwork to in-depth ultrasound scans.
