Home. ❤️

On Saturday, I came home after five weeks away learning, growing, and becoming the best dog I could be.

There were lots of hugs, happy tails, and a few happy tears. My family says I seem more confident than ever—but I was just happy to be back where I belong.

My training doesn’t stop here. I’ll keep practicing every day as I continue my journey toward becoming a certified therapy dog.

And don’t worry… I’m also continuing my very important role as Chief Taste Tester for Archie’s Provisions. Someone has to make sure every treat meets my very high standards. 🐾

Thank you for following my journey. I can’t wait to share what’s next!

Watching Archie make people smile never gets old. ❤️

While he was away at training, Archie joined his trainer from Custom Canine Unlimited for a community demonstration at The Marketplace. As a therapy dog in training, Archie is preparing for a future of bringing comfort, smiles, and a few slobbery kisses to the people he meets. He's always been a gentle, confident boy, and seeing him so relaxed while meeting new people makes us incredibly proud.

We can't wait to welcome home our favorite Chief Taste Tester as he continues his journey toward becoming a certified therapy dog. 🐾

Our first handler lesson with Archie at Custom Canine Unlimited ! 🐾

Yesterday wasn’t about teaching Archie—it was about teaching us. We learned how to communicate with him using the same techniques he’s been learning over the past few weeks.

Watching our gentle giant calmly work through his commands made us incredibly proud. We still have plenty of homework before he comes home, but yesterday gave us a glimpse of what’s possible when we’re all speaking the same language.

This week Archie gets the exciting opportunity to visit a school as part of his continued therapy dog training, and we can’t wait to hear how he does.

A huge thank you to Custom Canine Unlimited for all the time, patience, and care you’ve invested in our big guy. Thank you for not only training Archie, but for teaching us how to become better handlers and stronger partners for him. We appreciate everything you do! ❤️🐾

The production room is finally earning its keep. 🐾

After weeks of remodeling, painting, organizing, and getting everything just right, it’s exciting to see these counters covered with trays instead of tools.

Today’s test batch menu includes:
🥩 Beef liver
❤️ Chicken hearts
🐔 Chicken feet
🫀 Nutrient-rich organ meats

Every protein has its own ideal preparation and freeze-drying cycle, so these test batches help us fine-tune our process before launch. Our goal is simple: create wholesome, single-ingredient treats we’d be proud to give Archie—and your dogs, too.

One step closer to filling bags instead of trays. ❤️

🐾 The freeze dryer is humming again!

Our very first batch is officially underway in the newly remodeled Archie’s Provisions workspace.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been painting, building, moving equipment, and making improvements to create a cleaner, more efficient space for every batch we make. Today, all that hard work paid off.

This is more than just our first production run—it’s the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Archie’s Provisions. We can’t wait to share what’s coming next!

And don’t worry… Archie will still have the final approval on every treat. 🐶❤️

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from Archie’s Provisions! ❤️🤍💙

Before he became our Chief Taste Tester, Archie was just a curious puppy taking in one of his very first Independence Days. This throwback reminds us that some of life’s best memories are the simple ones.

Whether you’re spending the day at a backyard barbecue, by the lake, or relaxing at home with your four-legged best friend, we hope your holiday is filled with joy, good food, and plenty of tail wags.

Archie has always been fascinated by fireworks, but we know many dogs aren’t fans of the loud booms and bright flashes. If your pup is feeling anxious tonight, here are a few ways to help them feel safe and comfortable:

🐾 Bring them indoors before the fireworks begin.
🐾 Turn on music or white noise to help mask the sounds.
🐾 Offer a favorite chew or enrichment treat to keep them occupied.
🐾 Double-check that their collar, ID tags, and microchip information are up to date—just in case.

Whether your dog is watching the fireworks or happily snoozing through them, we wish you a safe, happy, and treat-filled Fourth of July! 🇺🇸🐶

Sometimes progress means taking a step back to make something even better.

After completing our initial batch testing, we realized there were a few improvements we wanted to make before our official launch.

So while Archie is away working hard at therapy dog training, we’ve been hard at work here at home.

We’ve been building workstations, repainting, organizing, and creating a workspace that will help us produce the highest-quality freeze-dried treats possible.

We believe it’s worth taking a little extra time now so we can do things right from the very beginning.

Every decision we make is with one goal in mind: creating products we’re proud to give our own dogs—and yours.

There’s still more to do, but seeing this room come together reminds us just how far we’ve come.

P.S. Don’t worry… Archie still has final approval over every treat. We’ll let him get back to work as soon as he graduates. 🐶❤️

Training Day 2 Update 🐾❤️

We got our first progress report from Archie, and this worried dog mom and dad are breathing a little easier.

His appetite is back to normal, he’s settling in well, and his trainer says he’s already making great progress with engagement, leash skills, and basic manners.

One of our favorite updates? Archie loves people so much that they’re using greetings as one of his rewards. He’s learning that calm behavior and good manners earn him the chance to say hello—a pretty important lesson for a future therapy dog.

Seeing our gentle giant so happy and eager to learn makes us incredibly proud. We miss him every day, but we know he’s exactly where he needs to be.

Today was a big day for Archie. 🐾

While we wait for final approval from the Department of Agriculture, Archie is hard at work! Today we dropped him off at to begin his board-and-train program as he works toward becoming a therapy dog.

Over the next several weeks, he’ll be learning advanced obedience, building confidence, and developing the skills he’ll need to bring comfort to others.

We’re going to miss our gentle giant more than words can say, but we know he’s in great hands. We can’t wait to watch him grow and share his journey with all of you.

See you soon, buddy. We already miss you. ❤️🐾
