Meet Salisbury Steak! A volunteer had the pleasure of fostering this goofy guy for a few nights during the fire evacuation, and he quickly won her over. “Sal is fully potty trained and crate trained. When I pointed to the crate and said “bed,” he walked right in. I didn’t hear him bark once during his stay. He loves to play and will happily entertain himself. He even tosses his own toys in the air and catches them. He’s also a big fan of tug-of-war. On walks, he can get excited when seeing other dogs or catching an interesting scent and may pull a bit, but overall he’s pretty easygoing. He’ll even army crawl through the grass or roll over for some scratches. Sal may be a big guy, but he’s convinced that he’s a lap dog. He loved cuddling on the couch and was never laying too far from me no matter what room I was in. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate dog who will keep you laughing and never leave your side, Sal is your guy. ♥️”
