Some dogs are so auditive that even the slightest sound spooks them. Fearful dogs deal with their fears three or four different ways, they either freeze, flight or fight the cause of the fear. They sometimes will exhibit displacement behavior (behavior that seems normal in the wrong context) or a combination of some of these. It’s our job to work on building their confidence and work on focusing in something else, like guidance and obedience.
