Happy National Dog Day!

Note from my mom:

These sweet pups make our life so much better!

Coco has been my best friend for 10 years. She’s truly seen me go through it all and has been my most loyal friend. I rescued her when she was 6 months old and was found in the rain, skinny and shaking under a car. She is still scared of storms to this day but she loves so deeply and protects so intensely due to her past. Those that she loves will tell you that if they could replicate her, they would in a heartbeat. Those that she’s unsure about might disagree. 🤣 She reads energy well.

Monty came into our lives at the perfect time. We weren’t planning on getting another dog, let alone a puppy. However, fate had a different plan. Meeting him at the rescue on a day meant for volunteering with my sister in law and niece, serendipity played its role. We don’t know what life was like before him now that’s he’s in our family.

Watching these two develop a sibling bond has been incredibly special! We feel so grateful.

We love these pups beyond words!

Sending extra love to dog parents whose dogs are no longer physically here. The hardest thing about being a pet owner. 😢 Lots of love coming your way.

🐾 1st Day it Doggy Day Care 🐾
My parents have been anxiously waiting the call from our vet who also is a Doggy Day Care Center while I was on the waiting list. Today was the day! I heard the nice lady telling mom and dad how I did. She said I was a little nervous, did a lot of sniffing, and made friends; didn’t play that much with the dogs but loved all of the humans. I play with all the dogs I’ve met so far but I think so many in one space was a lot for me. She told them that was completely normal for my first time.
I was SO excited to see my parents when they picked me up and even more excited to see my sister. 🐾 I sure am exhausted. 😴

1st Swimming Lesson 🐾
I didn’t do any laps yet but I did walk down the steps onto this amazing floating device. I wanted to be close mom and dad so I was upset when I felt I couldn’t be by their sides when they were in the middle of this big blue water holder! They kept saying they want me to learn to swim but that they don’t want to rush me. Since this is at my grandparents house, I feel like I’ll be trying this quite often!
