My Special girls are soaking in this amazing weather. They are definitely starting to realize different abilities do not define them. They have come so far. They have formed friendships (best friends) and no longer isolate. They recently made friends with a sweet hens that does not have share in their unique abilities. She has been able to teach them how to do thing that I never could have.

We are beyond saddened this morning to report that or Montana ( roo) has passed away this morning. He protected his girls until the end. Only one girl recieved received injuries they are minor. She will heal. You will be missed here Montana 😢 💔

We can’t wait to see the girls and boys enjoy their new swing set—it’s going to bring so much joy! Pictures will be coming as soon as they start playing.

At this time, we are unfortunately at full capacity for dogs and cats. The only animals we are currently able to accept are avian farm birds and avian house pets, including parrots and other birds.
If you need assistance with any of these, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
We truly regret that we are unable to help with additional intakes right now. That said, special needs animals are our specialty, and if you have questions or need guidance, we are always happy to try our best to help however we can.

A new temporary resident has arrived at our sanctuary.
This quail is currently receiving close care and support and is in a critical stage of recovery. If they pull through these early days, they will be adoptable.
For now, our focus is on stabilization, comfort, and giving them the best possible chance. If you are interested in adopting once they are cleared and ready, please reach out to us so we can keep you in mind.
Thank you for supporting animals who need a little extra help to get their second chance.
