Are you someone who butchers your own meat and running outta ways to eat it or just tired of eating chicken soup? Well so am I, so I'd like to share a few different ways I utilize my extra roosters in the freezer!

Sidenotes: when I say basic ingredients that does include salt and lemon pepper seasoning with some chicken bouillon powder (yours can be different) Also, cook him on HIGH for 2 hours total with some Apple C***r Vinegar in the marinade to help soften the meat

P.S. The cats are getting some shreds with fresh chicken broth and I'll be making treats from the broth as well! Don't worry, I'm going to be sharing!

Hope this helps! Have a good day! 💕

I discovered a random - not there before - patch of Goldenrod right behind my chicken coops so I guess we'll be drying these to make tinctures, teas and some salves!

LAST Hatch of the Year is officially done 👍
These babies are searching for a new brooder 🏡🏡
• 7 Black Mottled + 8 Calico Bantam Cochins
• All hatched on: 09/13 - 09/16 - 09/20 - 09/24

Look at how stinkin adorable everyone is! Looking back at this past season is amazing considering I hatched over 200 chicks and successfully found them homes. Next year I hope to do the same but with more focus on perfecting our color patterns and strengthening our lines! This year served as a good start for just that so by the Spring we should see how our F1 babies are looking and laying so that we can continue to hatch even prettier babies! Thank you to everyone who have taken my babies in and added them to your flocks, I love being able to share the wealth 😘
