The picture on the left is the first deer I mounted by myself and the picture on the right is the most recent in my opinion the most important thing on any mount is the eyes and ears I have struggled to get them right and still have a hard time but I do think they’ve gotten better I strive every day trying to get better there’s not a day that goes by that I’m not looking at reference photos. I’m no where near where I wanna be but I know where I’m going. Thanking God every step of the way. I do know I’m ready for my shoulder to be better cause this sitting around not able to do anything sucks.

Had to get one more mounted before my surgery Thursday it’s gonna be awhile before I get to mount again I’m just ready to get it over with and get back to it it put a little damper in my plans but it’s gonna be worth it in the end

I want to start out by saying thanks for everyone being patient with me I’ve been making phone calls the last few days and still have a lot to make I unfortunately messed around a tore my shoulder at work a couple months ago and I’m now having surgery done next week doctor said I have a 2 to 3 months recovery time with that being said I will not be do any taxidermy work in those few months. By the time I’m all good and ready to get back at it deer season will be upon us as you know we run Fowler Mountain Deer Processing so I will more than likely not get back to taxidermy work until deer season is over. I have decided that I will only be taking in deer shoulder/skull mounts and duck mounts only. I will finish all other animals that yall brought last season but after that it’ll only be deer and ducks. If anyone has any questions please give me a call (864-761-8115)

First deer of the 2025 deer season this ol boy had been through it seems like he took a horn to the right eye somewhere down the road cause it was twice as small as his left and scar up real bad sorry about the bad lighting lol we’re working on that
