From October 12 to November 6, USDF will be hosting virtual pre-convention meetings for each of its standing committees! Open to all members, each committee meeting will give you the opportunity to gain insight into the ongoing work of that committee, ask questions, provide feedback on topics that are most important to you, and ultimately play a role in the future of USDF and dressage in the US.
This is your chance to get involved! USDF’s committees are constantly working behind the scenes for the betterment of the organization and the sport, and as a USDF member, they want your input. 🗣️

🎉 Registration is OFFICIALLY OPEN for the 2026 Recognized Youth Dressage Awards Program! 🎉
**SIGN UP BY August 31, 2026! Scores are retroactive to beginning of the season regardless of when you register. Registration with CLOSE on August 31**
The Youth Dressage FUNdation is excited to announce the SECOND YEAR of our NATIONWIDE Recognized Youth Dressage Awards Program — and we’re making it even better for 2026! 🐎In 2025, we mailed 100 ribbons to youth riders all over the US!!
✨ WHAT’S NEW FOR 2026?
🗓️ The awards year will run from October 1, 2025 through the end of Regional Championships in 2026 (October 6, 2026)
This expanded awards window gives riders more flexibility and more chances to earn qualifying scores!
🎉 We are also thrilled to be ADDING TWO BRAND-NEW DIVISIONS:
• Dressage Seat Equitation
• Musical Freestyles

✨ Who’s eligible
✔️ All youth riders who are 21 & Under (cannot turn 22 in 2026) who compete at USDF/USEF licensed dressage shows.
❗ Schooling shows are not eligible — USDF/USEF recognized shows only
🏆 About the Awards Program
Now in its second year, this YEAR-END awards program JUST FOR KIDS groups riders by AGE, not just by level:
🔹 Youth Division: 12 & Under
🔹 Teen Division: 13–17
🔹 Graduate Division: 18–21
Awards will be given in ALL THREE age divisions for:
➡️ Intro
➡️ Training
➡️ First
➡️ Second
➡️ Third
➡️ Fourth
➡️ Dressage Seat Equitation (NEW for 2026!)
➡️ Musical Freestyles (NEW for 2026!) - Combined Training-4th

• Only 4 scores at the level needed to qualify (Only 2 for DSE & Musical Freestyle)
• Scores can be earned in one weekend or just two days
• Intro & Opportunity classes count — no memberships required
