To continue providing the level of care, staffing, and upkeep that your pups deserve, our Camp Hadara boarding rate will be increasing slightly from $45 to $50 per night, & daycare will be increasing from $35 to $40 per day, effective May 1st, 2026.

Whimsey in Dallas, TX

Whimsey is a very sweet girl that loves cuddles! She is an absolute doll and is friendly with everyone she meets. She is happiest by your side on the couch, receiving scratches and belly rubs until she falls asleep. If you stop petting her, she will take her paw and ask for more! She will be your little shadow, following you everywhere you go. If she can’t see you, she will walk around the house looking for you. Whimsey found herself in rescue after her previous family dynamics changed and they were no longer able to care for her.

At 10 years old she is in great health! No heart murmur! During her time in foster care she was spayed and had a teeth cleaning with 11 extractions. She was also brought up to date with her vaccines and is on heart worm prevention. The only concern that was observed during her spay was an enlarged right kidney. She had an ultrasound and they said it would not likely become an issue unless she had recurring urinary tract infections (which has not been an issue with her). They recommended a urinalysis twice a year and no further treatment is recommended.

Please order your dog collars without tags ASAP.
I have pasted and example of the one I prefer below.

It should include the dogs name, your phone number and I also put the word “Reward” after the phone number. If you do not put spaces in the phone number, you should have enough room for everything. 

Message me if you have any questions. We do not want anyone to get hurt by having their dangling name tag getting caught.

Jacob in Coatesville, PA

This sweet little Ruby boy is from Chester County. Jacob came into rescue because he was born blind, and his breeder wanted him to have a good life. Jacob is very well adapted to being blind, and navigates well around the house and the yard.

Jacob was born with multiple congenital ocular abnormalities. His eyeballs did not develop appropriately. He was also missing his lower eyelids (eyelid agenesis) and had dermoids. The eyelid agenesis and dermoids can be painful if not treated, so it was recommended that he have bilateral eye removal. Jacob had the eye removal surgery in July and has recovered nicely.

Jacob is on the smaller side, and is estimated to grow to about fifteen pounds as an adult.

This little precious nugget of love is incredibly smart and loves to learn. Jacob is incredibly food motivated, and loves learning new things both for mental stimulation and to better help him navigate his world.

It is also preferred that there be another dog (preferably with a calmer personality) in the house, as Jacob often uses the other dogs as his guide. Continuation of his training and socialization will be important.
