From Campus to Catwalk

Buddy was adopted in December, but was abandoned and we took him back. Today we left him at PetSupplies to stay in hopes of adoption. In less than one hour he was adopted!!!!! Thank you PetSupplies Mansfield for your partnership!

On my birthday, we challenged friends and followers to each donate $1. Yesterday, a supporter from the Humane Society delivered an envelope to me at work. Everyone there contributed $1 to our rescue. We appreciate the kind and thoughtful contribution. We thank each one of you!

HELP NEEDED: DOES NOT NEED TO BE LOCAL

We are in desperate need of fosters. In our good intentions of saving as many as we can, we have taken in more than we should to our personal home. We aren’t able to give the attention they each need. It is a hard lesson we have learned today. Please consider helping. We have kitten litters or individual cats.

Our sweet Tortie, the first official foster in our rescue, has to be euthanized today. She was an absolute sweetheart to all cats that came her way. We are so heartbroken. She loved the outside, and rarely came in. Unfortunately, her love for spending time in the woods led to some irreversible damage. She is in pain and very sick. We had to make the tough decision. She is our first save and our first loss.

This sweet couple was our neighbor at an event this weekend. Poppy kept running over to them, so they must be good people! They were recently asked to adopt a baby whose mama knew adoption was the best thing for the baby. They were not seeking out adoption, so no steps were in place to start the process. To get through all the hoops and legal fees, they need to raise $30-40k!!!! All proceeds from sale of their baked goods go to that cause. Please consider reaching out for your bakery needs!!!!

Little miss Poppy was a hit at our event yesterday ❤️ She received VIP treatment at Southern Yankee Mercantile with her own little photo shoot! thank you sherridanchubb for your help and all your hard work bringing these events to our community!

One week ago these guys were facing death, but the right person came along and made sure they came to us for safety. And now they are living their best life. They loved their baths and are now taking in the beautiful sunny day.
They were saved by a good samaritan that doesn’t even like cats. But he knew we could help them. This just proves you do not need to like cats at all to help our cause!
The little nuggets should be ready for adoption in about two months. Who wants to foster until then!?

The storm cut our day short. But we had a great time at The Fredericktown Vendors market. We made new friends, found new volunteers, and kids and adults stopped to make catnip toys for the fosters! We even had visitors from California!!!! Thank you to everyone that stopped by, and to my two helpers that joined me!
