🐾❤️ A BIG SNUGGLE SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT ❤️🐾
I’ve started and deleted this post more times than I’d like to admit because this one is HARD.
And yes… I’ve already cried. The girls have cried too. 😂❤️
If you’ve been part of Snuggle Squad, you know these dogs have never just been “clients” to us. They become family. My girls know them, love them and get just as excited to see them as I do.
So when a new career opportunity was first presented to me, I actually turned it down. I wasn’t ready for things to change especially when I thought about all of my regular pups and families.
But sometimes an opportunity comes along that you know you need to take.
Beginning November 1, Obedience Kings Dog Training is partnering with The Barking Barley to offer The Good Dog Club, and I’ve been given the opportunity to run the program under Tank. ❤️🐾
This is HUGE for me. Tank is putting an incredible amount of trust in me to help build and run this program, and I don’t take that lightly. More importantly, this gives me and my girls more long-term security while still allowing me to build a career around what I absolutely love DOGS.
Now, before anyone starts thinking Snuggle Squad is closing…
IT’S NOT. 😂❤️
This change primarily affects my weekday dog-walking schedule.
Your pups can ABSOLUTELY still come to my house. ❤️🐾 My boarding services are not going away. My house will still be full of dogs, my girls will still be loving on them, and I’m sure I’ll still be questioning why I willingly let this many animals take over my furniture. 😂
I’ll also still be offering weekend walks and other services that I can work around my new schedule.
For my regular walking families, there may also be another option that allows your pup to stay with me.
The Good Dog Club is more than traditional doggy daycare. Your pups get supervised play throughout the day while training and good manners are incorporated into their routine by none other than…
their favorite pet sitter. 😉😂 ME! ❤️🐾
So instead of me coming to your pup for their weekday walk, some of them may be able to come spend the day with me instead getting playtime, enrichment, structure and training along the way.
If you’re interested in possibly transitioning your pup with me, please reach out. I’ll happily send you the information and link.
If you’re seriously interested but there’s a hang-up or something making it difficult, please reach out and let me know. Maybe we can work something out.
And if your pup needs their regular weekday walk and this isn’t the right option for you, I’m not leaving you hanging. I will gladly help you find another walker I trust and feel comfortable recommending.
So while November 1 brings a pretty big career change for me, Snuggle Squad isn’t going anywhere.
Your dogs can still come stay with us. ❤️
They’re still going to be loved like our own.
My house is still going to be covered in dog hair. 😂
And the girls and I are still going to get ridiculously attached to all of them.
The biggest change is simply what my weekdays are going to look like.
I’m emotional about closing one little chapter, but I’m SO excited about opening this next one.
Snuggle Squad isn’t ending. We’re just growing. ❤️🐾
