Meet Quark, a 6-year-old Yorkie-Poo with one of the most unique names and biggest personalities around. Named after the subatomic particle, this little guy absolutely loves making new friends everywhere he goes.

Quark has a smile that lights up the room, literally. Mom says people are sometimes intimidated by his big excited grin because they think he’s baring his teeth, but really he’s just thrilled to meet everyone. Thankfully, we understand that this sweet boy’s smile is all happiness and excitement.

Honestly, we think his goofy smile just makes him even more lovable. We are always so happy to see this adorable little scientist come through our doors.

Customer Pet Spotlight, Kestrel

Kestrel may only be 10 months old, but this beautiful Aussie girl already has quite the personality. Also known as “Kiss-Kiss” by mom and “Princess” by dad, Kestrel is one of five Australian Shepherd siblings at home and proudly holds the title of clown of the pack.

This spoiled girl recently stocked up on some amazing goodies including Oma’s Pride Ground Rabbit and Bone, Ground Beef Organ, Ground Quail Frames, Green Juju Freeze-Dried Pork, Earth Animal Pork and Venison No-Hides, and K-9 Kraving Beef Snout and Zenta Pork Heart. Some of her all-time favorite treats are Vital Essentials.

When she’s not swimming, digging holes, or causing Aussie-level chaos, Kestrel insists on enjoying her chews in the most dramatic way possible, sprawled across the entire back of the couch for maximum comfort and princess energy.

We absolutely cannot wait to watch this sweet, hilarious girl grow up.

Happy Birthday, Sugar!

Sugar, a sweet Bull Terrier, has been working hard on her social skills and can feel nervous around other dogs. Last year, her mom asked Nancy if she could visit Dog Krazy Carytown after hours for a special birthday celebration, and our team was happy to make it happen.

It was such a success that we did it again this year!

Dressed in pink and sporting her favorite Dog Krazy bandana, Sugar enjoyed birthday cake, shopping, lots of love from our team, and of course, a visit to her favorite place in the store, the Stuffy Wall.

We're especially proud to share that Sugar has made a new dog friend since her last birthday, a huge milestone for this brave girl.

According to her mom, Sugar now stops and waits at our door whenever they walk by, hoping for another visit.

Happy Birthday, Sugar. We love watching your confidence grow and can't wait to see what comes next!

Valerie, a 3-year-old Hound Mix, stopped by Dog Krazy to celebrate the day her family found her, and we think that's a pretty great reason for a party.

This sweet girl was all about the smells, especially in our natural chew section, where she carefully inspected every option like a true connoisseur. Of course, no celebration would be complete without treats, and Valerie was more than happy to sample a few while she shopped.

One of our favorite parts of the visit was meeting her dad, who proudly wore a custom Hawaiian shirt covered in Valerie's face. If that's not dog parent dedication, we don't know what is.

As first-time Dog Krazy visitors, Valerie and her dad quickly fell in love with the atmosphere, and we absolutely loved meeting them. Thank you for spending such a special day with us, Valerie. Here's to many more adventures, treats, and happy memories together.

With the Fourth of July right around the corner, now is the perfect time to start thinking about ways to help your dog stay calm and comfortable during the celebrations.

One of my favorite tools at home is Woof Calm Pops.

I actually use them weekly in my own home, not just during fireworks season. They're a great option for helping take the edge off during stressful situations, whether it's thunderstorms, visitors, travel, grooming appointments, or those unexpected noises that can make some dogs anxious.

The key with any calming supplement is to start before the stressful event whenever possible. Don't wait until the fireworks are already booming outside. Give your dog time to benefit from the ingredients and support they're designed to provide.

A few additional Fourth of July tips:

• Exercise your dog earlier in the day
• Keep pets safely indoors
• Close curtains and turn on background noise
• Make sure ID tags and microchip information are current
• Create a safe, comfortable space where your dog can relax
