Meet Gus!

Gus is a handsome 4 year old Havanese who found his way to Dog Krazy after his previous salon wasn't giving him the care he deserved. We're so happy he did!

This little guy takes his job as Mom's protector very seriously, so he can be a bit spicy when it's time to say goodbye. But once he's with groomer Angie, Gus settles right in and is the perfect gentleman. He loves his spa days and always enjoys being pampered from start to finish.

The best part? When Mom comes to pick him up, she's greeted by a happy, relaxed, freshly groomed Gus every single time. She's been so thrilled with his experience that she's referred multiple friends and family members to Angie, at our Chancellor Crossing location and there's no greater compliment than that!

Thank you, Gus, for trusting us with your grooming care. We can't wait to see you again for your next spa day!

Meet Chet... also known as Cheddar, or if you're feeling fancy, Better Cheddar!

Weighing in at just 3 pounds, Chet may be tiny, but his personality is anything but! This little gentleman stopped by for his regular grooming appointment with his longtime groomer, Lexa.

When Chet first started his grooming journey, he wasn't exactly thrilled about spa days. With lots of patience, trust, and consistency, Lexa helped build his confidence over the years. Today, Chet happily enjoys his full grooming appointments and has traded in his spicy attitude for a calm, relaxed experience.

Whenever Chet walks through the door, he instantly becomes the center of attention. Everyone stops to admire his tiny size, adorable face, and larger than life personality. He may be one of the smallest dogs we see, but he definitely leaves one of the biggest impressions!

Looking handsome as always, Chet left feeling fresh, fluffy, and ready to charm everyone he meets.

Meet Mabel and Poppy!

These beautiful 3 year old Labrador Retrievers stopped by Dog Krazy for their nail trims, and they were an absolute joy to have in the store.

Mabel is full of puppy energy and loves nothing more than swimming whenever she gets the chance. Poppy is the calmer of the pair and proudly serves as the office secretary, keeping everyone in line. But don't let her professional title fool you. Just like any true Labrador, she's always ready for a treat!

We loved spending time with these sweet girls and can't wait to see them again soon.

Meet Scooby!

This handsome 1½ year old Doberman stole the show from the moment he walked through our doors. If his striking good looks weren't enough, that big smile completely melted our hearts. We didn't get to experience one ourselves, but Mom and Dad tell us Scooby also gives the best hugs!

Scooby loves running through the countryside, playing with other dogs, and making new friends wherever he goes. He has never met a stranger, whether they have two legs or four. According to his family, he is simply the sweetest boy.

While he can be a little picky about his snacks, he definitely knows what he likes. Honey I'm Home treats are always a favorite, and during this visit he discovered Gaines Family Farmed Carp Bladder. Let's just say it didn't even make it out of the store before he enjoyed every last bite right on our floor! We'd call that a glowing review.

One more thing we learned? If you want to be Scooby's best friend, all it takes is a few good ear scratches.

We can't wait to see this sweet boy and his wonderful family again soon!

BIG NEWS, and a little clarification because we don’t want anyone getting confused!

Our Downtown Fredericksburg Dog Krazy store is NOT moving! It’s staying right where it is.

We recently signed a lease on a new space downtown that will become the new Dog Krazy Corporate Headquarters and Training Center. This will NOT be a retail location.

This new space will give us a home for our corporate offices, franchise training, team education, product training, meetings, and so much more as Dog Krazy continues to grow.

And this one is extra special to me because I’ve had my eye on this particular space for YEARS. Every time I passed it, I thought about how much I loved it and what we could someday do with it. When it unexpectedly became available, I knew we had to grab it.

After 20 years of Dog Krazy, it feels pretty incredible to be creating a dedicated headquarters and training center right here in Downtown Fredericksburg, where our story began.

We will be having some fun outdoor dog events here so stay tuned!

And again, because we know how rumors get started 😂, the Downtown Dog Krazy STORE isn’t going anywhere!

Meet Scout!

Scout has made it part of his routine to convince Mom that every daycare day should end with a trip to Dog Krazy, and honestly, we don't blame him! This handsome 2 year old hound has the sweetest heart shaped marking right on top of his head, making him just as adorable as he is lovable.

When Scout stops by, he's always on the hunt for his favorite treats. His current must haves are our rabbit skin chews and the new duck jerky, and he definitely knows exactly where to find them!

We love seeing Scout's happy face after daycare and can't wait for his next shopping trip.
