I will be at the Brunswick Main Street Farmers Market this Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and at Field Fresh Farmers Market from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday morning. Eight years ago, I made a choice that changed everything. Today, I’m celebrating eight years of sobriety, and I want to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way.

When I first started this journey, I thought things would get easier overnight, but it took a few years of navigating this new life to really find my footing. Looking back, I’m so proud of where I am today: I’m a business owner, I love myself, I’m a wife and homeowner, and I get to be the best doggy mommy and grandmother I could possibly be.

If you are out there struggling and looking to get sober, please know that it is absolutely something you can do. You just have to decide that this is the life you want for yourself. It isn't always easy, but it is worth it. We all have the power to change our lives—anyone can do it. Thank you all for being part of my journey!

Blockhead Barkery, LLC is joining us at the market on Friday, and Kelli is making sure your four-legged friends get to Eat, Shop, Local, too.

Kelli creates small-batch pet treats for the furry members of the family. Why should they be left out when everyone else is coming home from the farmers market with something good?

So while you're shopping for yourself, don't forget to pick up a little something for the ones waiting patiently at home. Better yet--bring them along!

We love friendly to see friendly pets at the market, who are up-to-date on shots, and always on a leash. (You know we joke the same rule applies to small children and wandering husbands too!)
