🏃‍♂️🐾 Zoomies were in full force today at Basil's Boutique! 🐾🏃‍♀️

The pups spent the day doing what dogs do best—running, playing, chasing friends, and soaking up every minute of the beautiful day! From full-speed races across the yard to playful games of tag, there was no shortage of happy tails and smiling faces.

Watching the dogs sprint around, make new friends, and enjoy their freedom is one of our favorite parts of the day. Exercise is important, but so is having fun, and these pups definitely made the most of both today!

By the end of playtime, we had some very happy (and very tired!) dogs ready for a well-earned nap. 💕🐶

Days like today remind us how important it is for dogs to have opportunities to run, explore, play, and simply enjoy being dogs.

Sweet Gracie got our enrichment station add on today and it did not dissapoint! Gracie was so excited to sniff her way around this fun course. This provided so many unique opportunities for her to interact with the items, relieve stress, and just be a dog. We had zero expectations of Gracie while she was doing her course.

I sat out with Gracie for 30 minutes while she explored and sniffed. She got the yard all to herself because she prefers to be the queen of her own castle. We are happy we got to see her today as it's been a little while. 🥰 We love you Gracie girl.

We are so happy to welcome Mabel to the Basil's Boutique family 🥰 Mabel is a sweet aussie girl who will be staying with us while her pawrents are on vacation.

She is a great girl who is settling in wonderful. She is loving the other dogs. We are helping her decompress as she is a rescue and changing her environment can be scary. She is learning that even the bigger dogs are nice dogs. We are honored to be selected to care for her.

The heat was real today and Hoppy was excited about the pool!!! We have been putting the pool out daily for the dogs to cool off and enjoy. They have been loving it.

We have also made sure the dogs have access to AC inside so they dont become overheated. We understand it's hot and want to ensure the dogs are doing okay. They are always our top priority and we will do all we need to ensure they are comfortable.

Today is a very special day at Basil's Boutique. Today we welcomed sweet Bella to the program. She is a beautiful pittie girl who loves to play! We gave her some time to settle in and she is now loving the program. She has already made so many new furiends! We love seeing them go from shy to opening up with our delicate and calm approach.

We also welcomed back sweet Hopper! Many of you know Hopper as the pup who stays here for long periods of time. Well hes back for a month and a half! We are so happy his parents trust us to take care for him for so long. ❤️

We had such a fun afternoon today!! We got to have a pool pawty with some castles, tents, and tunnels. It's getting much warmer so the pups are enjoying cooling off in the pool! We will have the pool out a lot this week as temperatures are set to rise!

It's tubby time for sweet George today 😍 His mom ordered him an exit bath and hes all clean and smells wonderful for her pickup this afternoon.

George is nervous about the baths so we are patient, kind, and go slow to best support him. He particularly dislikes the blow dryer so we make sure to remain calm, patient and understanding of his needs. Doing these things help George to gain confidence with baths so he is not so nervous next time.
